Job Summary
Ed Redesign is hiring a senior researcher who will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive data strategy for Ed Redesign's two interconnected focus areas: individualized student Success Planning and cross-sector collaboration. Candidates should be enthusiastic about using data to identify pressing challenges, to track and communicate progress, and for accountability. They should be able to develop tools and materials to support local communities in using data and to lead an internal effort to identify the most useful metrics to track. Candidates should also have facility working with data sets and analyzing quantitative data and the ability to communicate complex information to various audiences.
This is a term position for one year from date of hire with the possibility of renewal.
Position Description
The senior researcher will lead the technical and analytic development of multiple projects in collaboration with the research director. Specific responsibilities include designing comprehensive strategies for using data and metrics as part of Success Planning; independently designing data analyses and analyzing data sets; developing tools, dashboards, and other data visualizations to enable school districts and other organizations to use and track data; contributing to reports and papers for publication; presenting key findings and information to internal and external audiences; contributing to funding proposals; and other duties as assigned.

This position will be based on campus in Cambridge.
