Oregon State Hospital (OSH) has is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Medical Clinic. OSH provides patient-centered, psychiatric treatment for adults from throughout the state who need hospital-level care. The hospital's primary goal is to help people recover from their illness and return to the community. Services include psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as community outreach and peer support. Additionally, we have a fully staffed medical clinic on campus to serve our patients physical needs.
The Medical Clinic provides medical service comprised of clinics (medical, cardiology, neurology, dermatology, orthopedics, optometry, audiology and podiatry) EEG, EKG, Radiology, and Medical Laboratory. Patients from throughout OSH Salem, and Junction City campuses, are referred to the Medical Clinic.
In this position you will report to the Chief of Medicine and collaborates with the Medical Clinic Nurse Manager. You will perform admission history and physicals, annual physical and collaborate with the clinic doctors to provide ambulatory medical care. You will also participate in general nursing administration duties such as documentation and consulting.
