Diesel Mechanic

Retention Bonus - $2,500 ($1,250 paid out after 6 months, and $1,250 after 12 months)

Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 9:00 AM start

$21+ per hour, based on experience

• High school or GED required
• 1+ years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment preferred.

• 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred.
• Gasoline, diesel required; propane vehicle experience preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• May be required to supply automotive hand tools; not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools.
• ASE certification preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred or willing to train

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for performing mechanical repairs & preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles.
• Primary focus will be on preventative maintenance and DOT inspections while assisting with repairing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance in fleet.
• Respond to service calls.
• Maintain tools.
• Clean work area.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
