Position Overview:
The Labor and Employment Attorney will provide comprehensive legal counsel on labor, employment, employee benefits, and related matters to the City of Naperville, its employees, elected officials, and various departments. The role will involve leading collective bargaining strategies, advising on employee relations issues, and representing the City in labor-related disputes.

Required:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a licensed attorney, with a focus on labor and employment law and collective bargaining negotiations.
Preferred:
Experience in public labor and employment law, including negotiating and administering municipal union contracts, interest arbitration, grievance arbitration, disciplinary investigations, and employment discrimination litigation.
