Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Behavior Analyst Associate for the Shapiro Center located in Kankakee, Illinois to actively participate in in-service and on-the-job training for a period not to exceed twelve (12) months, to gain proficiency and practical expertise in the field of applied behavior analysis consistent with the Behaviorist career discipline. Receives instruction in appropriate treatment standards and practical application of intervention procedures, restraints and seclusion. Completes controlled work assignments of increasing difficulty, complexity and responsibility. Instructs staff responsible for implementing treatment programs and support or ancillary staff impacting treatment programs on detailed treatment instructions and methodologies. Serves as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team.

Minimum Qualifications
*A master’s degree is required to gain BCBA certification; a doctoral degree (PhD) is required to gain the BCBA-D designation.
