Position Overview
The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire an Accountant for the Madden Mental Health Center located in Hines, Illinois to perform professional accounting duties involving all phases of accounting, internal auditing, fiscal reports and fiscal management information. Monitors the procurement process and the accounting cycle, utilizing the state’s computerized accounting system to review all transactions including procurements, invoices, receipts for goods and services, orders off of master contracts and/or additional procurements as assigned. Approves, posts, records, documents, maintains and reconciles all accounting information. Assists with audit findings, plans of correction and all financial reporting. Maintains financial reports for all accounts for the Madden Mental Health Center.
