The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Clinical Psychology Associate for the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center located in Anna, Illinois. For a period of 3 to 48 months, actively progresses to completion of all education and experience required to sit for the clinical psychology registration examination. Participates in in-service and on-the-job training to develop further expertise in the field of clinical psychology consistent with the psychology career discipline, familiarity with department services and a working knowledge of department program policies, rules, and procedures. Participates in psychological treatment procedures and case management.
Job Responsibilities
For a period of 3 to 48 months, actively progresses to completion of all education and experience required to sit for the clinical psychology registration examination.
Under qualified supervision, conducts psychological interviews, conducts, scores, and interprets psychological tests.
As a member of the treatment team, attends and participates in informing team on initial assessment and findings for newly admitted patients.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Clinical Psychology Associate for the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center located in Anna, Illinois. For a period of 3 to 48 months, actively progresses to completion of all education and experience required to sit for the clinical psychology registration examination. Participates in in-service and on-the-job training to develop further expertise in the field of clinical psychology consistent with the psychology career discipline, familiarity with department services and a working knowledge of department program policies, rules, and procedures. Receives controlled work assignments of increasing difficulty, complexity, and responsibility. Conducts psychological interviews, conducts, scores, and interprets psychological tests. Participates in psychological treatment procedures and case management.
Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Clark College is currently accepting applications for an 80% Full-time equivalent Special Programs Faculty Counselor in the Counseling and Health Center. Special Program faculty are funded by special purpose monies. Oversee the operations of both Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Health Clinic
Oversee and maintain highest standard of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) by counseling staff through supervision and development, by using the International Associate of Counseling Services, Accreditation Standards of the American Psychological Association, and the Counseling and Psychological Services Policies and Procedures as guidelines.
Work with the Health Clinic Director and staff to understand and follow American College Health Association guidelines.
Manage fiscal operations of the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Health Clinic by planning, implementing and closely monitoring CAPS and Health Clinic budgets.
Maintain current knowledge of best practices in the area of college physical and mental health services
Manage effective tracking and reporting of Counseling and Psychological Services (Titanium software) and Health Clinic Services (Medicat software) across all aspects of their mission: direct therapeutic services, primary prevention and education, groups therapy, professional development and training and campus consultation
Provide individual and group therapy to Hope College students
Provide crisis on-call service in rotation with other clinical staff
Provide crisis/triage assessment and response to students and as needed to the campus
Provide outreach programming and consultations to campus community
Maintain all relevant ethical, legal and profession standards of practice for Professional Counseling or Social Workers (as relevant to credentials in the state of Michigan)
Ensure that all services follow the guidelines of federal, state, and professional standards.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Doctoral degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling Psychology or terminal degree (i.e. Psychiatry)
Licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Michigan, or ability to obtain a Michigan Psychologist Licensure by Endorsement within 6 months of start date.
Six to ten (10) or more years of post-licensure related work experience
Experience in a College or University Counseling Center
Experience with providing clinical and administrative supervision of mental health professionals.
Experience with oversight and management of budgets
Preferred Qualifications:
Appreciation for and knowledge and experience with bilingual and bicultural counseling
