Position Details
The Salesforce and Business Systems Administrator will be based out of a home office located anywhere within the contiguous United States (Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern time zones) or United States territories that fall within the Atlantic time zone.
The Salesforce and Business Systems Administrator("Administrator"), leads the design, development, and administration of organization-wide business systems and platforms for executing New Leaders core strategies. Specifically, the Administrator is responsible for overseeing all technology that supports customer relationship management. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce, an operation mindset, and the ability to integrate systems to maximize operational efficiency. Additionally, the Administrator must have experience with HubSpot and be prepared to execute project work related to both platforms.
The Salesforce and Business Systems Administrator reports to the Deputy Chief Officer, Technology.
Specific Responsibilities
Salesforce System Development, Integration, & Optimization
• Lead all Salesforce-centric projects, ensuring that they align with the organization's strategic objectives and key performance indicators.
• Oversee the continuous development and enhancement of Salesforce, implementing new features and functionalities that align with business needs.
• Manage the integration of Salesforce with other vital organizational platforms such as HubSpot. Ensure seamless data flow, enhanced user experience, and optimal functionality between systems.
• Regularly review and optimize Salesforce configurations, layouts, and workflows to ensure they cater to evolving business requirements and remain streamlined.
• Ensure that Salesforce, as the primary CRM, is scalable to support anticipated business growth and maintains peak performance.
Data Management, Architecture, & Reporting within Salesforce
• Design and implement a robust data architecture within Salesforce to support comprehensive reporting on metrics like program achievements, philanthropy, and revenue operations.
• Implement and enforce stringent procedures to ensure the accuracy, security, and compliance of data within Salesforce. This includes monitoring data imports/exports and adhering to data protection regulations.
• Utilize Salesforce to design, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports that cater to the needs of the executive team, department leads, and other stakeholders.
• Identify, integrate, and manage relevant data sources within Salesforce, providing holistic insights into operational metrics and KPIs.
Collaboration, Training, & Advocacy
• Collaborate with various departments, leveraging Salesforce to identify and address business needs, gather project requirements, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop and deliver Salesforce training programs for staff, ensuring they're equipped to use the platform efficiently. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting any Salesforce-related issues and addressing user queries.
• Mentor and guide the existing Salesforce team, fostering skill development and advocating for best practices in Salesforce administration and usage.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and manage a roadmap for Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.

• 7 years of professional experience required.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or 6 or more years’ experience with Salesforce administrative duties.

• Expert-level understanding of Salesforce data, reporting, and dashboard capabilities.

The salary range for new hires in this position is $100,000-120,000. Salaries vary based on geographical location. After submitting an application, candidates who move forward in the hiring process are provided with the salary for their geographical location. Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible to participate in the New Leaders Health Benefits and Wellness Program, through which New Leaders offers two robust medical plan options, dental care, vision, and other benefits. New Leaders also offers a 401K plan for eligible employees and generous paid-time-off benefits. Employees may be eligible for merit awards, bonuses, and/or commissions depending on the role, organizational guidelines, and individual performance. New Leaders also has a 4 ½ day work week.
