POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is designed to provide you with the skills necessary for a career in management and/or outside professional sales. The program includes self-study modules, structured on-the-job training, as well as ongoing education throughout your career. As a Management/Sales Trainee, you will learn how to develop store market plans, manage customer accounts, assist in determining staffing needs, and other duties as assigned. You will be involved in all aspects of store operations, including loading/unloading and checking in merchandise, preparing orders, as well as operating tinting, mixing and color matching equipment and waiting on customers as necessary to support store sales.
Employee is required to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion. May assist with handling drums of material excess of 100lbs.
Employee will spend approximately 20% of the day sitting, 30% standing, 40% walking and 10% stopping, climbing and kneeling.
Employee is required to tint paint, therefore, must have good color perception.
Employee must be able to drive a car or van.
Employee must be able to operate and hand truck and/or material handling equipment in stores equipped with such equipment.
Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work all scheduled hours as needed.
Employee must have a valid driver’s license.
If usage of employee’s own vehicle is required, employee must obtain appropriate insurance as defined by Corporate Policy.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: 4- year Bachelor’s Degree , preferably with an emphasis in Business/Marketing
