Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the part-time position of EFSC Mascot on the Melbourne Campus in Melbourne, Florida.
The EFSC Mascot will perform as “Mr. Titan” at community appearances and EFSC athletic and student life events.
The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered:
High school diploma or GED.
Person should be 5’9” or taller, to fit mascot costume.
Person should be energetic, full of personality and comfortable in front of crowds.
Must be available for events on all four EFSC campuses.
Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required.
A review of Social Media activity will be part of the candidate evaluation process.
This position will require successful fingerprinting and the candidate chosen will be required to pay (currently $36.00). This fingerprinting fee is non-refundable.

Minimum working conditions/physical qualifications:
The costume can become warm so person should be aware of that fact and not have any problems with being enclosed in the material.
The weight of the costume is approximately twenty pounds.
The hourly rate is $15.00 . This position has been approved for up to 28 hours per week. This position is eligible for regular part-time benefits (i.e. vacation, life insurance, etc.).
Applications will be accepted from March 19, 2026, through April 5, 2026 ; however, the College reserves the right to extend or conclude searches without notice. Applications must be submitted prior to 5:00 p.m. on the closing day. This is a covered position under Chapter 295 Florida Statutes, which provides for Veterans’ Preference in employment for eligible veterans and eligible spouses of veterans.
