POSITION SUMMARY This position entails working in a production setting, being responsible for conducting inline AQL and audits working with Production supervisors/Leads in communicating Quality results. Follow AQL process as required/trained. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can learn new skills, pay attention to detail, work as a team and is committed to workplace safety. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES Inspect inline parts and notify supervisor/group lead of results. Red tag any non-conformance parts Record results on a Form Enter data into basic data spreadsheet. Support final inspection when needed. Review Quality control documents to perform inspection. Qualifications and Experience One (1) year of related experience in manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift to 35lbs. Able to push and pull up to 35lbs. Able to work under varying temperatures (warm in summertime, cool in wintertime) Physical exertion, including but not limited to continuous standing and walking, and occasional stair-climbing. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Summary: To exercise overall supervision of all production employees on the 2nd shift. The Manufacturing Supervisor works as key part of a team to oversee all employees on the shift and to ensure a well-managed, high-performing and safe environment. This role has a significant impact on OEE, daily factory and production operations, staff management and troubleshooting — and is a highly visible position within the company, critical to our growth as a world-class supplier and value-added partner to customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that employees understand expectations about their attendance, performance, and adherence to work instructions, working safely, and avoiding injury. Assist employees who are not meeting standards to improve to 100% of expectations. Monitor and improve press OEE (overall equipment effectiveness). Ensure the effective use of all PPE (personal protective equipment). Communicate with supervisor from the previous shift and review production schedule, changeover schedule, and issues from the previous shift. Ensure all labor and production data is reported and entered correctly into the computer/ERP system. Ensure all employees are performing duties correctly and safely. Administer performance reviews and coach all operators to improve individual performance -- includes evaluations of new hire employees as they are being trained. Participate in scrap-review process. Propose and implement improvements that will reduce product cost, increase output, increase machine up time, decrease expense, and provide a better and safer work environment. Oversee and maintain shop cleanliness and organization. This position entails working in a production setting, operating various presses to produce molded rubber parts for our OEM partners. Machine Operator Responsibilities: Carry out production, inspection, packaging and other duties (as required) Review and document all necessary production information: Mold Process Sheets (MPSs), Deviations, Quality Alerts Molding data (times, temperatures, etc.) Molding output Maintain a safe and clean work space Follow established safety rules and regulations Skills and Qualifications: Possess motor skills to repeatedly operate a mold throughout the shift Must be able to lift 35lbs to 55lbs (press dependent) Able to push and pull up to 35lbs (press dependent) Able to work under varying temperatures (warm in summertime, cool in wintertime) Physical exertion, including but not limited to: continuous standing and walking, lifting, pulling, and occasional stair-climbing Able to read, write, and follow all work instructions Able to communicate effectively and work independently  Openings/opportunities on two shifts: 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) 2nd Shift (3:30pm-12am) If a candidate joins the Rahco Rubber team, the new hire will be awarded a bonus of $300.00  after the new employee completes 90 days of employment.
