PeopleTec, Inc. is currently seeking a Virtual Patriot Integrator to support our Anderson, SC location.

Under the direction of the National Guard Patriot Training Program (NG PTP) Lead, the Virtual Patriot Integrator is responsible for the integration and maintenance of on-site and distributed Patriot-specific Training Devices that support the NG PTP training objectives and training device requirements for the 263rd AAMDC Anderson Readiness Training Center (ARC) in Anderson, SC.  Additionally, the Virtual Patriot Integrator will provide on-site support during the integration and operation of both Virtual Patriot training devices, to include both the Patriot Reconfigurable Table Top Trainers (RT3) and vPat RTOS-based systems, as well as any and all required Tactical AMD Systems (Tactical Planner Workstation (TPW)) during both local and distributed Live-Virtual-Constructive (L-V-C) Training events, distributed Joint exercises and supported test events, as required, to support the NG PTP Training Program.  The Virtual Patriot Integrator will assist the NG PTP Lead and associated support team members with all required updates relating to systems hardware, operating systems and software applications while ensuring that all capabilities are operational and updated as required to meet organizational training timelines, objectives and Information Assurance (IA) requirements.  Additionally, the Virtual Patriot Integrator leads all integration efforts at the ARC which may include both new and existing systems and services as directed by the customer or organizational leadership in support of all funded tasks. Additionally, the Virtual Patriot Integrator will serve as the facility's Air and Missile Defense SME, as required, and provide AMD-related training guidance during AMD-related requirements for NORAD/NORTHCOM training and real-world planning sessions.    


Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist the NG PTP Training Lead with the integration of Patriot RT3 and vPat Systems to operate in both individual and dual-console configurations to include on-site and over a Local Area Network (LAN).

  • Develop Modeling and Simulation Scenarios that meet the AMD requirements as defined by the NG PTP Program and the Government Leadership requirements.

  • Serve as a SME for all AMD related tasks.

  • Capture AMD-related M&S requirements and develop support plans that meet customer requirements.

  • Identify ways to incorporate the facility's current capabilities into new and emerging customer requirements.

  • Serve as an ADAFCO or Patriot Operator during training requirements.

  • Assist in the application of patches and updates for both software applications and operating systems (both Windows and Linux).

  • Coordinate with Civilian and Military Leadership to ensure training objectives are being met and provide updates each month to include a yearly roll-up of supported training events and newly implemented capabilities.

  • Must have experience working with Patriot-related tactical systems, software and tactical data links and demonstrate the ability to integrate AMD systems across Joint infrastructures.

  • Proficient in both basic and advanced computer system troubleshooting techniques and demonstrate experience installing and managing clients and using multiple operating systems (MS Windows and Unix / Linux).


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Past experience integrating and operating Air and Missile Defense Systems and Components.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management and maintain and establish excellent customer relations with internal and external customers.
  • Learning and sharing new skills honed through independent research, formal training and industry events.
  • Capability to work independently and self-motivate.
  • Read and understand complex technical materials and apply knowledge derived from them.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to continual changing work demands or situations.
  • Ability to adhere to common workplace rules and procedures.
  • Problem solving is a critical attribute for success in this skill set.
  • Experience working in a classified government facility with DoD Air Defense systems.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills.
  • Travel Requirement: 10%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Candidate must hold a U.S. DoD Secret Security clearance upon hire, and have the ability to maintain this clearance level during their employment.


Educational Requirements:

The completed Bachelor's Degree in a technical field is preferred, but not required.


Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working with Virtual AMD Modeling & Simulation Systems and Software Applications; past Patriot RT3 experience is preferred
