Job Description

PeopleTec, Inc. is currently seeking a SharePoint/ Web Application Developer to support our Huntsville, AL operations.


Candidate will be a member of the Software Products Group (SPG) developing custom software applications for commercial and Government clients. The developer is expected to be able to work in a collaborative cohesive team environment as well as independently. Candidate must also be able to research and overcome technical hurdles with minimal supervision. The developer is expected to exercise good technical judgment in selecting and implementing solutions. Strong communications skills are required, as the developer will interact with senior internal and external stakeholders as well as Government clients.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, modify, and implement SharePoint sites
  • Develop source code, test and analyze software programs and web applications.
  • Develop, write and submit technical/ programmatic status reports.
  • Interact clearly and directly with PeopleTec/ SPG team members and Government clients.
  • Travel is required to support this position. 


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency with SharePoint 2013
  • Experience with designing and developing custom workflows
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio (.NET), HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL Server is also required
  • Travel: Up to 25%
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Candidate must currently have an active Secret security clearance and be able to maintain this clearance level during employment


Educational Requirements:

A completed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline and a minimum of 6 years' experience required.

An additional 4 years of software engineering/ development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. 


Additional Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Microsoft SharePoint certifications
  • Experience with Information Assurance support for CON, RMF and Gov cloud development
