Prior Authorization Review Coordinator – Four Positions

What you will do!
Each of the four Prior Authorization Review (PAR) Coordinator positions below are responsible for receiving prior authorization (PA) requests for services covered by the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and initiating the steps required to complete the processing, review and determination of the PA requests. These positions utilize Oregon Administrative Rules, member information and benefit package information to interpret applicable rules, regulation, decisions, policies and procedures to ensure that complete and accurate PA information has been received from the requestor and assisting the requester with compliance of program requirements. These positions also support Medicaid service providers by operating a provider hotline during normal business hours, and by managing a variety of tasks related to prior authorization and unit functions. These positions will also be responsible to work with policy teams to offer feedback toward process improvement and compliance with due process policies. In addition, these positions will work with the OHP Medical Leadership team for both complex clinical decisions and policy and process improvement strategies. We are hiring two positions to support review of Behavior Rehabilitation Services and two positions to support review of Personal Care Attendant Services.
Behavior Rehabilitation Services (2 positions). BRS is a program that utilizes a residential care or proctor care model to provide services to people who are multi-system involved. The service is intended to offer services with psychological emotional and behavioral conditions and disorders. This position is also responsible for supporting the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) program by identifying and approving clinically necessary services for members younger than 21 years of age. In addition, this position will work with the OHP Medical Leadership team for both complex clinical decisions and policy and process improvement strategies. This position will ensure prior authorization criteria is met for BRS services and that services are approved in accordance with applicable BRS rules and state plan authority. This position may also assume supportive roles for the PRTF benefit program as needed.
Personal Care Attendant Services (2 positions). PCA services seek to support activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living for individuals diagnosed with chronic mental illness. PCA services are intended to improve or maintain an individual’s condition and mitigate further regression, minimizing the need of more acute services. PCA services need to be determined as medically necessary and medically appropriate to meet an individual’s personal care needs in their own or family home. This position is also responsible for supporting the in-home personal care program and agency with choice program. This position may also assume supportive roles to ensure prior authorization criteria is met for behavioral rehabilitation services (BRS) and psychiatric residential treatment services (PRTS) approved in accordance with applicable BRS rules, PRTS rules, and state plan authority.

Prior Authorization Review Coordinator – Four Positions

What you will do!
Each of the four Prior Authorization Review (PAR) Coordinator positions below are responsible for receiving prior authorization (PA) requests for services covered by the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and initiating the steps required to complete the processing, review and determination of the PA requests. These positions utilize Oregon Administrative Rules, member information and benefit package information to interpret applicable rules, regulation, decisions, policies and procedures to ensure that complete and accurate PA information has been received from the requestor and assisting the requester with compliance of program requirements. These positions also support Medicaid service providers by operating a provider hotline during normal business hours, and by managing a variety of tasks related to prior authorization and unit functions. These positions will also be responsible to work with policy teams to offer feedback toward process improvement and compliance with due process policies. In addition, these positions will work with the OHP Medical Leadership team for both complex clinical decisions and policy and process improvement strategies. We are hiring two positions to support review of Behavior Rehabilitation Services and two positions to support review of Personal Care Attendant Services.
Behavior Rehabilitation Services (2 positions). BRS is a program that utilizes a residential care or proctor care model to provide services to people who are multi-system involved. The service is intended to offer services with psychological emotional and behavioral conditions and disorders. This position is also responsible for supporting the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) program by identifying and approving clinically necessary services for members younger than 21 years of age. In addition, this position will work with the OHP Medical Leadership team for both complex clinical decisions and policy and process improvement strategies. This position will ensure prior authorization criteria is met for BRS services and that services are approved in accordance with applicable BRS rules and state plan authority. This position may also assume supportive roles for the PRTF benefit program as needed.
Personal Care Attendant Services (2 positions). PCA services seek to support activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living for individuals diagnosed with chronic mental illness. PCA services are intended to improve or maintain an individual’s condition and mitigate further regression, minimizing the need of more acute services. PCA services need to be determined as medically necessary and medically appropriate to meet an individual’s personal care needs in their own or family home. This position is also responsible for supporting the in-home personal care program and agency with choice program. This position may also assume supportive roles to ensure prior authorization criteria is met for behavioral rehabilitation services (BRS) and psychiatric residential treatment services (PRTS) approved in accordance with applicable BRS rules, PRTS rules, and state plan authority.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience performing public contact and/or customer service duties comparable to the work of a Public Service Representative.
At least two years of this experience must include dealing with the public in-person or by phone providing information about services and programs; explaining rules, programs, and procedures; and/or providing assistance, explaining requirements, and gaining compliance.
Desired Attributes

Evidence of ongoing development of personal cultural awareness and humility, and knowledge of social determinants of health and their impacts on health outcomes.

The Administrative Services Division within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic 3 position. This position is located in our Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
In this role, you have the unique opportunity to take ownership of the daily functions and needs of the entire Department of Ecology headquarters building in Lacey. With over 300,000 square feet of office space, lab, and storage spaces plus the surrounding 48-acre property, you will be involved in many different projects throughout the spectrum of trades as the building’s maintenance technician. Duties
What makes this role unique?
As the sole technician of the Ecology headquarters building, you play a crucial role as the first point of contact for tenants seeking assistance with building issues. Multiple government agencies have office space in this building, each with their own identity, mission, and corresponding needs and processes, offering this position a unique blend of challenges and variety. Much like other office spaces, the building is transitioning from traditional in-office work to a hybrid format. You will play a key role in facilitating that change as smoothly as possible.
What you will do:
Conduct daily in-person inspection and assessments of the building and grounds.
Coordinate with vendors and tenants to facilitate repairs.
Perform general repairs and maintenance of building hardware and fixtures.
Respond to customer inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance service to assigned building equipment.
Maintain an orderly tool shop and workspace.
Build healthy relationships with the building tenants and vendors.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
30 hours worked per week for 20 months: (30/40) x 20 months = 15 months full-time equivalent
20 hours worked per week for 12 months: (20/40) x 12 months = 6 months full-time equivalent
Experience for both required and desired qualifications can be gained through various combinations of formal professional employment, education, and volunteer experience. See below for how you may qualify.
Option 1:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in a skilled trade.
One year of experience as a journey-level worker in building and equipment maintenance, construction, or repair work.
Option 2:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Equivalent experience and/or education in facility maintenance and system testing.
Special Requirements/Conditions of Employment:
Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Duties
What makes this role unique?
As the sole technician of the Ecology headquarters building, you play a crucial role as the first point of contact for tenants seeking assistance with building issues. Multiple government agencies have office space in this building, each with their own identity, mission, and corresponding needs and processes, offering this position a unique blend of challenges and variety. Much like other office spaces, the building is transitioning from traditional in-office work to a hybrid format. You will play a key role in facilitating that change as smoothly as possible.
What you will do:
Conduct daily in-person inspection and assessments of the building and grounds.
Coordinate with vendors and tenants to facilitate repairs.
Perform general repairs and maintenance of building hardware and fixtures.
Respond to customer inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance service to assigned building equipment.
Maintain an orderly tool shop and workspace.
Build healthy relationships with the building tenants and vendors.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
30 hours worked per week for 20 months: (30/40) x 20 months = 15 months full-time equivalent
20 hours worked per week for 12 months: (20/40) x 12 months = 6 months full-time equivalent
Experience for both required and desired qualifications can be gained through various combinations of formal professional employment, education, and volunteer experience. See below for how you may qualify.

The Williamsburg Area Transit Authority seeks an individual to perform responsible administrative and customer service-related work in support of the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) transit operations.
Responsibilities:
Provides strong customer service to the public and internal customers, in-person and over the telephone; provides information, responds to questions, comments, paratransit scheduling requests and complaints regarding WATA Services via phone and in person; and directs customers as required.
Opens and/or closes the WATA Customer Service Center and Store; maintains the cleanliness of the facility including but not limited to emptying trash cans and cleaning the main and break area.
Utilizes and monitors radio and dispatch messages for service.
Responsible for the sale of bus tickets and issues passes in accordance with established procedures; accepts fees and maintains appropriate records.
Reconciles daily fare collection and maintains related paperwork and system files.
Requirements:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma; some work experience which shall have involved assisting the public, handling money, customer service and/or sales.
Must possess reliable transportation to work site(s).
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service including setting and meeting quality standards for services; knowledge of concepts related to public and independent transit travel; including those with physical and mental issues; knowledge of fixed route public transportation services.
Skill in use of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to communicate with the public and coworkers in an effective professional, and courteous manner at all times; explain fares, the transit system and policies in an effective manner; operate a cash register, credit card machines, general office equipment, computers, fare equipment and other systems as required to accomplish the work assigned; handle money and maintain related fiscal records; independently apply and carry out policies and procedures within assigned area of responsibility; make mathematical computations with accuracy; follow verbal and written instructions; make independent decision in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Knowledge of principles, methods, and practices of accounting, tax, ledger recording, balancing and financial reporting; Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) statements; knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service including setting and meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
