Position Description
America Votes is currently seeking a Development & Grants Assistant to join our diverse and high performing Development & Grants team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development & Grants Assistant serves as the backbone of department operations by ensuring all administrative processes are in place to execute the department's work. This includes, working closely with other departments to ensure compliance needs are met, assisting with contribution tracking and acknowledgement, supporting donor communication needs, and other related projects as assigned. Responsibilities
Support Grants Manager in working with finance and legal teams to ensure grantees have submitted necessary documentation for tracking.
Provide additional support on tracking and summarizing grantee reporting for internal and external communications.
Coordinate with the political department and state staff to gather information for regular funder updates on overall program execution.
Support the productions of various donor communications including research, content collection, copy-editing, etc.
Support the executing of in-person and virtual donor briefings (including slide administration and management).
Provide dedicated administrative support for fundraising principals, to include assistance with scheduling, meeting prep, and other logistical needs.
Manage the EveryAction platform, covering all data entry and system maintenance.
Maintain all contribution related information including invoices and contribution instructions.
Manage a weekly "state highlights" report summarizing key developments from target states.
Support the logistics of State Summit sponsorships deliverable collection and provide additional assistance as needed.
Attend fundraising events, meetings, and gatherings as needed.

Qualifications
Has experience in a finance or data role in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
The salary for this position will be between $53,000 and $58,000 and depend upon the applicant's experience. The Job
We are seeking an Individual Giving Manager with 3-5 years of experience in a smiliar role to take the lead on defining and executing the Tor Project's strategic approach to acquisition, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of Tor donors who give less than $1,000 annually. This role reports to the Director of Fundraising and collaborates with the Fundraising Coordinator.
The Tor Project's approach to fundraising doesn't use privacy-invading tactics. We don't track whether or not donors have clicked on an email, a link, or a button; we don't buy or sell donor lists; we don't use invasive wealth assessment tools; and we aim to minimize the amount of information we collect during the donation process. The Individual Giving Manager must be able to prioritize donor privacy when conducting their duties and responsibilities.
Duties & responsibilities
Take ownership of the Tor Project's annual and monthly giving strategies with the primary goal of increasing small-dollar donor retention
Design and implement structures, processes, and policies required to execute these strategies
Create and maintain high-quality documentation about these structures, processes, and policies
Optimize Tor's open source, privacy-first CRM (CiviCRM) to build donor engagement using thoughtful automation and drip messaging
Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to design and execute time-bound campaigns, including Tor's annual year-end fundraising campaign
Monitor and analyze progress towards goals and use this analysis to present suggestions for improvement
Contribute to short and long-term fundraising team planning and evaluation of strategic efforts
Represent the Tor Project in-person, at virtual events, and with a variety of external stakeholders
Support Director of Fundraising and Executive Director in donor relationship management
Collaborate closely with Fundraising Coordinator to facilitate timely gift acknowledgements and accurate reporting

The Job
We are seeking an Individual Giving Manager with 3-5 years of experience in a smiliar role to take the lead on defining and executing the Tor Project's strategic approach to acquisition, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of Tor donors who give less than $1,000 annually. This role reports to the Director of Fundraising and collaborates with the Fundraising Coordinator.
The Tor Project's approach to fundraising doesn't use privacy-invading tactics. We don't track whether or not donors have clicked on an email, a link, or a button; we don't buy or sell donor lists; we don't use invasive wealth assessment tools; and we aim to minimize the amount of information we collect during the donation process. The Individual Giving Manager must be able to prioritize donor privacy when conducting their duties and responsibilities.
Duties & responsibilities
Take ownership of the Tor Project's annual and monthly giving strategies with the primary goal of increasing small-dollar donor retention
Design and implement structures, processes, and policies required to execute these strategies
Create and maintain high-quality documentation about these structures, processes, and policies
Optimize Tor's open source, privacy-first CRM (CiviCRM) to build donor engagement using thoughtful automation and drip messaging
Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to design and execute time-bound campaigns, including Tor's annual year-end fundraising campaign
Monitor and analyze progress towards goals and use this analysis to present suggestions for improvement
Contribute to short and long-term fundraising team planning and evaluation of strategic efforts
Represent the Tor Project in-person, at virtual events, and with a variety of external stakeholders
Support Director of Fundraising and Executive Director in donor relationship management
Collaborate closely with Fundraising Coordinator to facilitate timely gift acknowledgements and accurate reporting

This is a full-time, remote position. Salary for this position will range from $77,000 - $85,000 USD (based on candidate experience) and there is voluntary opt-in salary transparency for employees and contractors. The organization is currently experimenting with a four day workweek.

Works with external organizations to facilitate site rentals. Develops and shares event confirmations that include customized quotes and planned schedules for the unique needs of each event. Works with external organizations in-person, by phone, and over email to ensure each external event is thoughtfully executed. Submits invoices to organizations and maintains attendance reports following each event.

Purpose Reporting to the Associate Director of Exhibitions and Public Programs, the Event Operations Manager will plan and execute events for the Harry Ransom Center that serve researchers, students, faculty, staff, public, members, donors, and external groups. Partner with the Camp Director and take an active role in programming for attendees. Must reside in onsite ranger's residence on Council property and provide emergency coverage.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary negotiable based on experience. The hiring range is $37,000 to $45,000 annually in addition to housing and utilities (valued at $3,000 per month). A private 2-bedroom house on camp property is provided, along with the use of a camp vehicle for transportation, snowmobile and ATV.
Workload varies by season and includes evening and weekend hours required to meet emergencies or program needs. Peak season is June-September.

Director of Corporate Giving & Events General Duties: Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director of Corporate Giving and Events will serve as a frontline fundraiser and execute key donor engagement strategies to build and expand the corporate giving pipeline. The Director of Corporate Giving and Events leads the strategic direction and overall management of all corporate relationships, including sponsorships, partnerships, and corporate employee engagement. This position is responsible for cultivating, stewarding, and expanding relationships with prospective annual corporate partners and overseeing all related events, event sponsorships and delivery of benefits.
This position will oversee Women of Distinction (WoD), our signature event series honoring women who have displayed exemplary leadership and commitment to advancing girls and women in the community. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively identify, recruit, and guide individuals from across your region to join THL’s expanding community of supporters. Grow our network and re-energize our existing network.
Train, motivate, and retain volunteers to take on leadership roles for THL and to execute a variety of actions and events to further our campaign efforts and overall mission to end the abuse of animals raised for food.
Efficiently manage volunteer tracking tools to keep meticulous records of volunteer activity and progression within THL’s changemaker circle of engagement.
Act as the face of THL to external stakeholders (including donors identified by THL’s Development team), local media, and community groups. This includes speaking at events, in webinars, and on video conference calls.
REQUIRED SKILLS
At least 1 year of experience in grassroots or community organizing or grassroots advocacy.

This is a full-time, remote position. This position requires occasional domestic travel (equivalent to approximately 2-4 trips per year) as well as flexible hours, including occasional weekends.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively identify, recruit, and guide individuals from across your region to join THL’s expanding community of supporters. Grow our network and re-energize our existing network.
Train, motivate, and retain volunteers to take on leadership roles for THL and to execute a variety of actions and events to further our campaign efforts and overall mission to end the abuse of animals raised for food.
Efficiently manage volunteer tracking tools to keep meticulous records of volunteer activity and progression within THL’s changemaker circle of engagement.
Act as the face of THL to external stakeholders (including donors identified by THL’s Development team), local media, and community groups. This includes speaking at events, in webinars, and on video conference calls.
REQUIRED SKILLS
At least 1 year of experience in grassroots or community organizing or grassroots advocacy.
Leadership: Ability and desire to effectively guide, motivate, empower, and engage various target audiences. Because the movement is composed of people from a wide range of backgrounds, a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to navigate DEI issues, is key.

The Events Manager will be responsible for creating and executing an in-person and virtual events strategy that creates a consistent and values-aligned experience for Generation Hope staff, program participants, and externally facing audiences that include our donors and supporters. 3+ years of experience in successfully executing large events (i.e. 200+ attendees) for various audiences
Experience in successfully planning events for nonprofit fundraising is a plus

Ability to effectively manage vendors in designing brand-compliant materials
Ability to design and execute events that demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail, an in-depth understanding of how to tailor each event to very specific audiences, and a passion and plan to achieve event outcomes
Experience with Google Suite, CRM systems, Canva or other design software, PowerPoint/multimedia presentation, and project management software preferred

Position:
Generation Hope seeks an experienced, knowledgeable, and driven Events Manager. The Events Manager will be responsible for creating and executing an in-person and virtual events strategy that creates a consistent and values-aligned experience for Generation Hope staff, program participants, and externally facing audiences that include our donors and supporters. The position will lead and manage the organization’s annual events calendar and lead or advise on all key events to include: board meetings, staff training events, and all fundraising events (both donor-driven and hosted by Generation Hope). A cross-organizational role, the Events Manager will coordinate with team members from all departments as well as external consultants and vendors to facilitate the execution of successful events that provide an organized, professional, and purpose-driven experience for GH Leadership, center families, and create a stellar attendee experience. The Events Manager will be a key member of our Development & Communications team and play a crucial role within Generation Hope’s rapidly growing full staff of more than 40 professionals who care deeply about racial justice and who are bold, strategic, and committed to achieving progress toward our mission every year.
Responsibilities:
Develop Generation Hope’s events strategy and philosophy, ensuring that all events are aligned with the priorities outlined in our Strategic Plan and executed with a race equity lens that prioritizes and centers the voice of our student parents and their families
