PeopleTec, Inc. is currently seeking a Radar Analyst support our Huntsville, AL location.

The Sensors Test Analysis Requirements Simulation (STARS) team is seeking a Radar Analyst who will enhance our support of the Missile Defense Agency's sensor systems. This position requires a detail oriented individual who will perform a variety of tasks including radar operation and using raw radar data, analyzing radar performance from flight and ground tests. The ideal candidate will have hands-on radar experience with one of the 4 radars from the Sensors Directorate portfolio (AN/TPY-2, SBX, UEWR or Cobra Dane) and have a good understanding of systems engineering processes, missile defense architectures and weapon systems, and Air and Missile Defense radar applications. The candidate should be capable of be executing documented test and analysis procedures on a demanding schedule and should be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. The position will include collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products that are valuable to the customer.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Hands-on knowledge of the operation or analysis at least one of the following radars AN/TPY-2, SBX, UEWR or Cobra Dane.
  • Candidate should understand how the radars operate and have experience with radar data manipulation and analysis and should be proficient in Matlab or similar analysis tools.
  • The candidate should have the ability to follow detailed procedures and an interest and desire to troubleshoot issues when identified.
  • Candidate must be able to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Travel: 0%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • A Secret clearance is required to perform this work.  Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance level during their employment.


Education Requirements:

Candidate must possess a completed Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics, and have at least 3 years of applicable experience.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with UNIX and Linux operating systems and experience with radar configuration. The ability to develop specific analytical tools within Matlab is desired.
