SAFE Alliance seeks a Bridge to Safety Crisis Advocate for the Community Services Program in the SAFEline department. Position Details:
We are looking for one person to work on a part-time, non-exempt basis for an hourly salary of $21.00 dependent upon experience and an additional hourly language differential of $1.73 for those who are English/Spanish bilingual. The work location will be based at our Grove Blvd. Campus in the East Austin area. This position will include some travel in community or between campuses with no ability for remote/hybrid work.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field, or sufficient, equivalent, relevant work, life, or volunteer experience in lieu of degree.
Knowledge or background in the topics of sexual assault, domestic violence, poverty, disability, stalking, human trafficking, and child abuse preferred.
One to two years crisis intervention experience strongly preferred with the ability to respond to clients in a constructive, supportive, and non-judgmental manner.
Has sufficient personal maturity and stability to handle traumatic information inherent in this work, ability to recognize and seek out support for secondary trauma when needed and to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.
Those fully bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately to convey information using both languages, both verbally and in writing are preferred.
Ability to complete thorough, accurate and professional documentation of appointments with clients, balancing the needs of program documentation with client ability and willingness to complete such documentation.
Be capable of sitting for extended periods of time and occasional exposure to adverse working conditions, including the performance of work in noisy, stressful or chaotic environment.
The advocate will not transport clients but must have the ability to make as needed trips to local vendors to purchase needed items for clients (i.e. cellphones, gas cards, etc.).
Have a valid, State of Texas Driver's License (If in possession of an out-of-state license, obtain a State of Texas Driver's License within 90 days of beginning employment.) AND at least three (3) consecutive years of driving experience OR one (1) year of driving experience if over 27 years of age AND an acceptable driving record that covers at least the last three years of driver history.
This position requires completion of the 40-Hour Office of Attorney General Sexual Assault Advocacy Training Program within six (6) months of starting employment, along with participating in annual continuing education throughout your employment.
Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check if applicable), as well as a pre-employment drug screen and TB test, if applicable.

Required Qualifications
A working knowledge of conservation policies, conservation easements, and real estate transactions.

Working directly with staff, citizens and allied organizations to organize the public around campaigns, policies, and outcomes supportive of the PEC mission, including adoption of language in the counties’ comprehensive plans and support or opposition to specific land use threats and opportunities.
Collaborating with PEC communications and advancement staff to secure appropriate funding and highlight the benefits of PEC’s work in the region.
The Field Representative reports to PEC’s Director of Conservation, but will also work closely with other field representatives, departments within PEC, and members of the PEC Board of Directors.
This position will be based at PEC’s headquarters office in Warrenton, VA.
Required Qualifications
A working knowledge of conservation policies, conservation easements, and real estate transactions.
Experience working with rural landowners and the farming community.
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, forestry, natural resources, planning, public policy, environmental studies, or a related field.
Ability to organize, coordinate and manage diverse activities and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well with a diverse constituency with a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives, including elected officials, non-profit representatives, community groups, and residents, and experience leading public outreach and/or education campaigns.
Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and oral, including ability to write, edit, and proofread written materials for use in communicating public policy and conservation opportunities internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications

This position is a non-exempt / hourly position with benefits. Salary range of $22 to $31.25 per hour (equivalent to $45,000 – $65,000 annually), depending on qualifications.

Job Summary
Hawkeye Community College’s Athletics program is looking for two part-time Assistant Wrestling Coaches to join their team.
The Assistant Wrestling Coach assists with the supervision and coaching of practices and competitions for the Wrestling program. This position will aid in recruiting student athletes, directing practices, managing practice and travel schedules, as well as, supervising team conduct during competition, travel, tournaments, and other events where the team is represented. Furthermore, this position participates in the planning, organizing, and execution of preseason and season practices in addition to fostering a positive team atmosphere and supporting student athletes’ academic progress, retention, and graduation through mentoring activities and guidance to appropriate support services. Hawkeye Community College’s Athletics program is looking for two part-time Assistant Wrestling Coaches to join their team.
The Assistant Wrestling Coach assists with the supervision and coaching of practices and competitions for the Wrestling program. This position will aid in recruiting student athletes, directing practices, managing practice and travel schedules, as well as, supervising team conduct during competition, travel, tournaments, and other events where the team is represented. Job Summary
This position supports the Communicable Disease & Tuberculosis (TB) services unit within the Clark County Public Health Infectious Disease Program. This unit is responsible for the investigation, prevention, and control of communicable diseases in Clark County. The unit provides rapid response to disease outbreaks, including case investigation, TB case management, response, and implementation of preventive measures to control disease spread in the community. As a core member of the Platform software team, the candidate will be part of a fast-paced, high caliber team building diagnostic software to help validate high-speed digital designs and achieve high yields in manufacturing Arista Network products used in the computer networking industry's largest data centers.
The Platform software team is responsible for all aspects of the development and delivery of hardware validation and manufacturing diagnostic software. The successful candidate will work closely on a project from its early conception to the final production stage at an off-site contract manufacturer. As a core member of the Platform software team, the candidate will be part of a fast-paced, high caliber team building diagnostic software to help validate high-speed digital designs and achieve high yields in manufacturing Arista Network products used in the computer networking industry's largest data centers.
The Platform software team is responsible for all aspects of the development and delivery of hardware validation and manufacturing diagnostic software. The successful candidate will work closely on a project from its early conception to the final production stage at an off-site contract manufacturer. They will work with fellow engineers and members of the hardware and manufacturing team to understand the design and validate it. Besides closely working with the hardware engineers in designing the board, they will also review the hardware specifications and produce diagnostic specifications for the board. With that as a basis, the candidate will design the code to bring all of these to life. They will also work with customers to triage and fix problems in their networks. They will play a major role in improving yield at the contract manufacturer site as their software will be critical in validating the builds and quickly identify manufacturing defects.
This role demands a strong and broad software engineering background, and a good understanding of hardware board design technology as well as third party network processors. The candidate's role will not be limited to any single aspect of managing ASIC-based networking solution, but cover all aspects of bringing up new hardware, developing all features requiring hardware validation, testing the software and hardware, and supporting our customers using the products. As an experienced engineer, this role also requires that they take an active part in organizing a team of engineers to tackle a project, providing vision for the project, managing the schedule for the project, and coordinating the activities of the team.

The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $120,000 to $195,000.
