Position Description
America Votes is seeking a Get Out The Vote Director for a full-time, 2024-cycle position in the following states: AZ, FL, GA, MI, NC, OH, PA, WI. The Get Out The Vote Director plays a key role in the advancement of the progressive movement in the state, including supporting the growth, strategy, and effectiveness of coalition direct voter contact programs. The Get Out The Vote Director will lead the America Votes Coalition partners and their planning and program implementation for the final phase of the 2024 electoral campaign. We seek an individual with a combination of technical and political skills to join the growing team to manage these services and work with state partner groups and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with the ability to forge strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, and a commitment to fostering trust and respect with partner organizations. This position will also support program implementation and reporting across the state coalition, including working directly with America Votes partners and allies in the state to facilitate best practices and the incorporation of research-tested tactics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electoral field program management, superb interpersonal skills, planning and decision making, passion for coalition work, and the capacity to build trust with an inclusive, collaborative, and diverse coalition of partner organizations. Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead the work related to Get Out the Vote, Early Vote, Vote-by-Mail, Same Day Registration, and related election administration as applicable to the state. Support special projects for the mobilization phase of the work including campus programs, ballot initiatives, and other state-specific campaign projects.
Partner Support : Support coalition partners through the development of campaign plans (electoral, voting rights). This may include providing technical and organizing assistance for individual partner organizations or groups of partners , responding to programmatic requests, and supporting the implementation of winning strategies. Work with the state data director to support data needs of partner programs. Portfolio may include some tools supporting direct voter contact programs.
Support Coalition Management : Work with the state team on tracking and coordination tools to support the implementation of Get Out the Vote programs across tactics and partners. Support and create content for reports and deliver presentations to diverse sets of stakeholders, sometimes on short timelines.
Direct Voter Contact Program Support : Support coalition campaign work on field tactics implementation (like canvassing), including supporting the integration of best practices and universe coverage. Facilitate creative solutions to challenges related to electoral and issue campaigns. Support electoral and advocacy program implementation across partner organizations including script development and program timing and support some partners in using VAN (Voter Activation Network). This work includes planning, implementation and post-program assessment and may include developing systems or updating existing systems to manage the information, advance training, and strengthen the integration of best practices in the work. This work may include voting rights and election administration.

Qualifications
Required
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 cycles (4 years) of experience in progressive political campaigns, progressive non-profits or similar organizations (with a campaign focus), or similar transferable experience. Ideal candidates will have experience with direct voter contact and canvass operations.
Experience working with underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities, particularly in electoral or political settings.
Strong sense of ownership and resilience with respect to planning ahead, finding alternative paths when needed, and moving forward after setbacks. Demonstrated a bility to move people to action and hold them accountable with and without formal authority.
At least one cycle (minimum of 12 months) of experience with campaign field operations including canvass operations and script writing. Familiarity with VAN (Voter Activation Network) or similar systems.
Demonstrated ability to build consensus, negotiate, and strategically disagree within a highly collaborative work environment; ability to be respected by progressive stakeholders, and to be able to practice confidentiality, discretion and legal compliance in the work.
Familiarity with early vote, vote by mail, and voter mobilization programs. Understanding of common voter contact methods like canvass, mail, and phone programs and applying those to persuasion and mobilization efforts, including early vote.
Ability to work independently and to drive and manage own workload; ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively by making and meeting team goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Drive with emphasis on using Excel, Powerpoint, Google Slides and Google Sheets. Must have the ability to manage a high volume of campaign data as well as create informational decks/slideshows.
Ability to travel within the state (as needed); ability to work irregular campaign style hours, especially during the peak months of the electoral cycle. Attend and lead meetings in person one-on-one, in small groups, and in large coalition meeting settings.

Compensation
The minimum salary for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 ($6,667 - 7,083/month) with a potential election year bonus, based on performance and the state's election landscape.

America Votes is seeking a Data and Program Manager for a full-time, 2024-cycle position in the following states: AZ, FL, CO, GA, MN, NH, NV, OH, PA. The Data and Program Manager plays a key role in the advancement of the progressive movement in the state, including supporting the growth, strategy, and effectiveness of coalition direct voter contact programs through issue and election activity. This person will be the keeper and coordinator of some of the most exciting progressive work in the state. This position is ideal for someone who has entry level campaign experience and is eager to learn more, has a passion for helping others do their best work, and is excited about the details and tools that power direct voter contact programs. The position works directly with the America Votes team, as well as dozens of progressive partners across the state.

Position Description
America Votes is seeking a Data and Program Manager for a full-time, 2024-cycle position in the following states: AZ, FL, CO, GA, MN, NH, NV, OH, PA. The Data and Program Manager plays a key role in the advancement of the progressive movement in the state, including supporting the growth, strategy, and effectiveness of coalition direct voter contact programs through issue and election activity. This person will be the keeper and coordinator of some of the most exciting progressive work in the state. This position is ideal for someone who has entry level campaign experience and is eager to learn more, has a passion for helping others do their best work, and is excited about the details and tools that power direct voter contact programs. The position works directly with the America Votes team, as well as dozens of progressive partners across the state.
The Program and Data Manager will be responsible for supporting partner organizations running program in the state including field operations, integrating best practices, and using voter contact tools like VAN, Get Thru and Scale to Win. The position ends December 31, 2024.

Responsibilities
Project Support and Management: Support coalition programs of America Votes primarily focused on direct voter contact. Program areas might include campus programs, ballot initiatives, tactic-specific programs (canvass, phone, relational programs, etc), down ballot focused programs (congressional, state level or local races, etc), Get Out the Vote programs, and other state-specific campaign projects.
Partner Support : Support coalition partners through the implementation of campaign plans (electoral, voting rights). This may include providing technical and organizing assistance for individual partner organizations or groups of partners , responding to programmatic requests, and supporting the implementation of winning strategies. Work with the state data director to support data needs of partner programs, including some VAN administration responsibilities. Portfolio may include some tools support including VAN, AV housed/created coordination tools, direct voter contact tools, and some grant management.
Support Coalition Management : Work with the state team on tracking and coordination tools to support the implementation of the America Votes program across tactics and partners. Support and create content for reports and deliver presentations to diverse sets of stakeholders, sometimes on short timelines. This work may include some coalition administration tasks like scheduling, coordinating communication to coalition partners, and supporting in person meetings and events.
Direct Voter Contact Program Support : Support coalition campaign work on field tactics implementation (like canvassing), including supporting the integration of best practices. Support electoral and advocacy program implementation across partner organizations including script development and support some partners in using VAN (Voter Activation Network). This work may include developing systems or updating existing systems to manage the information, advance training, and strengthen the integration of best practices in the work. This work may include voting rights and election administration.
Program Implementation Support : Support meetings of coalition partners, which may include work groups on election-related topics such as campus programs, ballot initiatives, down ballot programs (congressional, state legislative, etc). Support events of America Votes partners and allies including coalition meetings and trainings, canvassing events, phone banks, and other direct voter contact events. Support program implementation through program participation, basic VAN administration, supporting program training and debrief activities, and support in using direct voter contact tools.

Qualifications
Required
Ideal candidates will have at least 1 cycle of experience in progressive political campaigns, progressive non-profits or similar organizations (with a campaign focus), or similar transferable experience. Ideal candidates will have experience with direct voter contact and canvass operations.
Experience working with underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities, particularly in electoral or political settings.
Strong sense of ownership and resilience with respect to planning ahead, finding alternative paths when needed, and moving forward after setbacks. Demonstrated a bility to move people to action and hold them accountable with and without formal authority.
Familiarity with VAN (Voter Activation Network) or similar systems is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to be able to practice confidentiality, discretion and legal compliance in the work.
Familiarity with early vote, vote by mail, and voter mobilization programs. Familiarity with young voter programs including campus organizing models is a plus. Understanding of common voter contact methods like canvass, mail, and phone programs and applying those to persuasion and mobilization efforts, including early vote. Understanding of digital programs, relational programs, or broadcast programs a plus
Ability to work independently and to drive and manage own workload; ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively by making and meeting team goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Drive with emphasis on using Excel, Powerpoint, Google Slides and Google Sheets. Must have the ability to manage a high volume of campaign data as well as create informational decks/slideshows.
Ability to travel within the state (as needed); ability to work irregular campaign style hours, especially during the peak months of the electoral cycle. Attend and lead meetings in person one-on-one, in small groups, and in large coalition meeting settings.
Candidates should have a spirit of service and curiosity, along with a diplomatic approach to problem-solving in work with outside partners and while working independently or on a team.
Preferred
Ideal candidates will have experience with data and targeting, using data to inform organizing and electoral campaign strategies. Familiarity with integrating research and best practices into a program is a plus.

Compensation
The minimum salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 ($5,000-5,833/month) with a potential election year bonus, based on performance and the state's election landscape.

Position Description
America Votes Georgia is seeking a talented staff or project manager and mid-senior campaign strategist for a full-time position as Deputy State Director. The Georgia Deputy State Director plays a key role in the work to grow the state coalition and coordinate strategies between state and national partners. The Deputy State Director works to advance the progressive movement in the state, responsible for the year-round coordination and alignment of electoral, organizing, advocacy and policy work among partners and allies. The position works directly with the America Votes team in Georgia and will support advancing team priorities and goals. The Deputy State Director works closely with dozens of progressive partners and allies within the state's progressive movement. This is a management position that reports directly to the Georgia State Director.
Location
This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia and may require travel around the state; other Georgia locations may be considered. Due to the pandemic, most work is temporarily hybrid or remote.
Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Leadership : Facilitate innovative and creative solutions to challenges related to electoral and issue campaigns, short- and long-term campaign planning, and capacity building. Facilitate ongoing conversations and collective actionable steps toward equity in the work of the coalition and partner members.
Coalition Coordination: Plan and facilitate regular coalition meetings for organizations to create and share plans as well as progress toward goals; identify problems and new opportunities toward winning elections and advancing advocacy goals. Directly manage and provide leadership in the state with the development, implementation, and analysis of state campaign plans, with an emphasis on direct voter contact programs.
Project Management: Support the state director in implementing America Votes' organizational goals. Support team creation of work plans and team benchmarks for success. Manage special projects to deliver on team goals.
Partner Campaign Support: Advocate for partner organizations and elevate quality programs in the state, assist organizations in identifying potential resources, and move resources to partner groups whenever possible. Support organizational and team focus on quality service to partners and stakeholders Lead, organize, and facilitate coordinated and/or collaborative partner events, including coalition meetings, training and direct voter contact activities. Develop and execute training curriculums to advance the partner's program, as well as create and organize resources.
Program Implementation: Develop capacity-building opportunities for partners and work directly with the State Director and state team to assess program gaps and overlaps to maximize program impact. Coaching and troubleshooting for high-level campaign staff. Support program implementation through the voter file and other related tools including basic VAN administration.
Product Creation : Lead and support the creation and development of written reports and products to tell the story of Georgia and support the coalition. Lead the development of content for reports and presentations for a diverse audience of stakeholders. Deliver presentations to stakeholders, sometimes on short timelines.

Qualifications
Required
Ideal candidates will have a minimum 6-8 years experience in progressive political campaigns with at least 1 cycle of statewide experience, or similar transferable experience and three years' project management or staff management experience, including a track record of fostering a collaborative environment and consistent feedback.
Experience building campaign strategies, preferably electoral, including having responsibility for planning, implementation, and program analysis at a statewide level. Position Description
America Votes Georgia is seeking a talented staff or project manager and mid-senior campaign strategist for a full-time position as Deputy State Director. The Georgia Deputy State Director plays a key role in the work to grow the state coalition and coordinate strategies between state and national partners. The Deputy State Director works to advance the progressive movement in the state, responsible for the year-round coordination and alignment of electoral, organizing, advocacy and policy work among partners and allies. The position works directly with the America Votes team in Georgia and will support advancing team priorities and goals. The Deputy State Director works closely with dozens of progressive partners and allies within the state's progressive movement. This is a management position that reports directly to the Georgia State Director.
Location
This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia and may require travel around the state; other Georgia locations may be considered. Due to the pandemic, most work is temporarily hybrid or remote.
Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Leadership : Facilitate innovative and creative solutions to challenges related to electoral and issue campaigns, short- and long-term campaign planning, and capacity building. Facilitate ongoing conversations and collective actionable steps toward equity in the work of the coalition and partner members.
Coalition Coordination: Plan and facilitate regular coalition meetings for organizations to create and share plans as well as progress toward goals; identify problems and new opportunities toward winning elections and advancing advocacy goals. Directly manage and provide leadership in the state with the development, implementation, and analysis of state campaign plans, with an emphasis on direct voter contact programs.

Qualifications
Required
Ideal candidates will have a minimum 6-8 years experience in progressive political campaigns with at least 1 cycle of statewide experience, or similar transferable experience and three years' project management or staff management experience, including a track record of fostering a collaborative environment and consistent feedback.
Experience building campaign strategies, preferably electoral, including having responsibility for planning, implementation, and program analysis at a statewide level. Expertise in field operations, canvass, voter mobilization, and mail programs preferred. Established expertise and proven track record with electoral plan writing, targeting, and modeling. Experience working with underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities, particularly in political and organizing settings.

Manage and continuously improve GreenLight’s in-house program performance management system (currently Apricot), which contains all of our programmatic data, from due diligence on prospective portfolio organizations (prospective grantees) to annual data reported by our portfolio organizations (grantees)
Work with site teams to regularly clean and update data and documentation in the program performance management system (currently Apricot)
Lead communication with grantees and site teams around required annual data reporting and importation processes
Develop and contribute to dashboards and other ongoing communications that translate data analysis and findings into content for multiple audiences, both internal and external
Gather and analyze the quantitative and qualitative data drawn from our sites and portfolio organizations, and share the learning with stakeholders in alignment with our broader organizational Learning Plan
Support national and site-level research analytics and data projects aligned with the broader GreenLight Learning Plan and emergent site-needs
Support the Director of Learning with GreenLight’s systems and processes for building, sharing and managing knowledge within NatPo and across the network – ensuring above all that that key learning that GreenLight needs to transmit to the future is captured systematically
Ensure documents and resources related to data, program performance management and learning are captured in the NatPo resource library and easily navigable for site staff

Support the Director of Learning to facilitate an annual process for reflecting on progress and learning in the prior year and identify which priorities in the Learning Plan are or continue to be most relevant for the upcoming year

Partner with the Director of Learning and People Operations Team to ensure every staff member has the onboarding and ongoing learning and development (L&D) opportunities they need to engage in reflective practice, data use and equity-centered strategic learning
Lead national and site-level staff onboarding, ongoing L&D and user support for the program performance management system (currently Apricot)
Facilitate reflective practices throughout both new and existing meeting structures and ways of working across the GreenLight network
Build the capacity of staff to use data and evidence by developing and presenting analyses and summaries that address complex questions and evidence in digestible, useful ways
National Portfolio Team
Partner with the Director of Learning to cultivate and strengthen reflective practices within the NatPo team such that the team can model and collectively support the broader GreenLight network to integrate reflection and learning into their work
Collaborate with the NatPo Model/Design team: provide data/feedback from portfolio orgs and communities to support continuous improvement of the GreenLight Method; ensure Case Studies connect to the Learning Plan and annual learning questions
Coordinate with the NatPo Site Support team to sequence/plan annual portfolio data collection, other portfolio-facing learning activities and both internal and external communication about data/learning
Co-lead planning, hiring, onboarding, and management of National Portfolio interns and fellows, as well as the alignment of interns and fellows across sites as needed
Participate in cross-functional work groups and collaborate on special projects that advance key organizational priorities
Required Qualifications
A minimum of three years of experience with data collection, use, analysis and reporting, social impact measurement, and working with nonprofit/social impact organizations;
A deep commitment to removing barriers to inclusive prosperity so individuals and families can thrive, and an understanding of the challenges and inequities facing families living in low-income communities;
Experience with reflective practice and using data/learning to improve practices and ways of working (with staff, our portfolio and communities);

Required Qualifications
A minimum of three years of experience with data collection, use, analysis and reporting, social impact measurement, and working with nonprofit/social impact organizations;

Reduce nutrient pollution: Reduce harmful algal blooms, toxins in drinking water supplies and “dead zones” by reducing inputs of nitrogen and phosphorus from most significant sources by advancing policies and community-influenced solutions that address the harmful impacts of agricultural pollution, inadequate sewage treatment and urban runoff to our waterways.
Address and educate on climate impacts on water resources: Educate the public, Administration and Congress about the impacts of climate change on water resources, including potential solutions for mitigating climate change that also protect and improve water quality, and how water use contributes to climate change and how antiquated water infrastructure, water use, and water pollution contributes to climate change.
We are seeking a full-time Director, Clean Water for All, to join the Coalition, which is currently housed at the National Wildlife Federation. We are looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our team. This position may be based in our office in Washington, DC or any other of our offices across the country in Reston, VA; Atlanta, GA; Seattle, WA; Denver, CO; Missoula, MT; Austin, TX; Annapolis, MD; Ann Arbor, MI; Montpelier, VT; Los Angeles, CA; or New Orleans, LA. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will support the staff of the Communications department as they develop and execute effective integrated strategic campaigns designed to garner earned media for the National Wildlife Federation across all divisions — with a special emphasis on Education, Gardening, Conservation Programs (including Advocacy and Rapid Response), and Special Projects, including public relations outreach for the National Wildlife Federation’s Naturalist.
In this role you will:
Support the national communications team through the drafting of press releases, advisories, opinion content, blog posts, social media content, and other materials
Enthusiastically pitch stories, interviews, and on-location coverage opportunities to the media and key bloggers even in cold calls
Communicate regularly with staff across the organization
Help the National Wildlife Federation become an anti-racist organization, including demonstrating self-aware, supporting inclusive and equitable work culture, and committing to building equity competencies
Provide communications supports 35% to 50% of time — Garden for Wildlife, Children and Nature, K-12 education and higher education leadership
Research public media niches in K-12 education, early childhood, child health, higher education, gardening and community improvement, identify key networks and key outlets
Assist in compiling campaign plans and presentations
Collaboratively help plan and execute external meetings and events
Help track and analyze media placements and associated metrics
Field external emails and calls from media and direct them to the proper program and policy staff
Provide communications support and other assistance to the National Wildlife Federation’s naturalist, including web updates and media tracking
Occasionally will assist staff with their travel plans and expense reports
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in communications, journalism, marketing, or related work
Excellent written and oral communications skills, including strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility
Strong commitment to equity and environmental justice
Spanish fluency preferred
Basic understanding of media relations and government processes
Able to work independently and cooperatively; ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
Good multi-tasking and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines
Ability to meet unanticipated needs
Effective problem-solving skills
Ability to research and identify niche communications markets in gardening, health and education
