Chispa , a program of LCV, works to ensure that Latine communities and leaders have a strong voice in the movement for climate justice and within the environmental movement and influence the environmental policies and decisions that impact our health and environment. Based in the Community & Civic Engagement department, Chispa has programs in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, and Texas.
Responsibilities:
Generate, manage, and track voter actions taken and volunteer lists for CCE programs.
Serve as a point of contact for state league partner organizations with questions around CCE 501(c)(3) mobilization programs, including nonpartisan voter registration and get out the vote (GOTV) data.
Support the Campaigns Department with state support around CCE 501(c)(4) mobilization programs, including voter registration and get out the vote (GOTV) data.
Assist state league partners in establishing 501(c)(3) program and targeting goals, including identifying and coordinating opportunities for program data analysis.
Manage state league 501(c)(3) data requests and provide data management assistance to state league partners, as needed, including nonpartisan voter registration, VAN, EveryAction, and get out the vote (GOTV) data.
Assist with cross-departmental data analysis, targeting, and training.
Manage relationships with voter file, data, analytics and technology vendors, and serve as a liaison to other organizations that LCV and LCVEF work closely with on data-related issues.
Establish clear vendor standards and expectations with regard to performance deliverables of the EveryAction platform and toolsets.
Clean data and prepare lists to upload and export into the database(s) and Civis.
Maintain records describing the quality and quantity of available data.
Create reports providing strategic insight for the CCE team about our volunteer base and voter contacts.
Assist in designing voter outreach and volunteer retention experiments.
Analyze demographic and socioeconomic trends in membership, volunteer, and voter data and recommend measures to expand stakeholder diversity.
Explore opportunities to import and export data into DDX across the organization.
Analyze racial, gender and economic justice impact of government policies and programs on organizational stakeholders and population at-large.
Travel up to 10% for staff retreats, training, conferences and professional development opportunities, as needed.

Qualifications:
Work Experience: Required – 5 years or 3 election cycles of experience in data management on issue or electoral campaigns, or with organizations focused on voter contact, data management or data analytics. Must have worked in at least one data management role in a campaign setting. Expert-level experience with VAN, MiniVAN or other voter contact tools. Experience with creating and managing relational databases and strong knowledge of SQL. Experience with responding to data requests, troubleshooting problems, and providing data-driven strategic guidance to multiple internal and external stakeholders in different geographic locations. Experience with designing, delivering and organizing data skills or data management training. Experience with creating regular reports highlighting key metrics for internal and external stakeholders. Preferred – Experience with or interest in randomized-controlled experiments. Experience with how modeling is utilized in campaigns. Experience with a statistical programming language such as R, Stata, SAS or SPSS; Experience with Python or GIS.
Skills: Required – Strong data management and analysis skills; demonstrated ability to communicate technical findings and concepts to non-technical audiences; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality of work; highly motivated, curious and collaborative; Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. LCV is hiring two Managing Directors of Development Partnerships who will be responsible for a portfolio of lead and principal level donors in a specific state or region and holds 35-50 visits with donors and prospects annually to raise the budgeted revenue for the assigned portfolio. Each Managing Director role will manage a team of 2-4 Directors of Development Partnerships, each of whom have visit and revenue goals related to their assigned portfolios, plus one Major Gifts support staff who works with the team so that each Managing Director will supervise between 3-5 staff on their team. This position is responsible for developing and implementing high level systems and processes in collaboration with other development managers that will support the Major Gifts Team’s ability to raise more money, more efficiently. The ideal candidate is a highly-skilled communicator, organized, ambitious, goal-driven, excels at managing people, and will be able to apply their expertise to coach and lead their major gifts team.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop 2-5 Directors of Development Partnerships and one Major Gifts Associate, Manager, or Coordinator. Ensure the team meets or exceeds their visit and revenue goals.
Lead regular team calls and retreats.
Write persuasive and personalized cases for support, emails, letters and proposals to donors and prospects including in depth descriptions of our programs and role in environmental advocacy, politics, and racial justice and equity. Use these communications as examples of donor engagement and share with the team regularly.
Regularly identify opportunities and lead projects to boost team performance and center LCV’s CLAASI Values (Community, Learning, Anti-Racism, Accountability, Sustainability, Innovation) as an effective trainer, compassionate coach and forward-thinking mentor.
Support direct reports in managing and developing a portfolio of about 120 current, lapsed and prospective donors, deepening relationships in person, over the phone, and in writing. Support each Director in sharpening their ability to talk about core racial justice and equity work, educate donors and other stakeholders on why this work is central to our mission, and challenge and persuade those who disagree.
Support and partner with organizational leaders to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward Principal donors.
Expand the portfolio of prospective donors to include more women, people of color and young people; broaden our current methods of identifying, cultivating and soliciting donors of color and build the skills and competencies of our team to meet this objective.
Work with staff to educate our current and prospective donors about the racial justice and equity work in which we are engaged, including drafting talking points and practicing for visits.
Hold a portfolio of donors and prospects and meet with them across the region, holding at least 35-50 donor visits annually depending on the number of people on the team.
Interface and collaborate with other development managers to create efficient and effective systems and materials that will help the Major Gifts Team raise more money.
Ensure LCV lead and principal level donors and prospects are engaged in a highly tailored way.
Recruit donors and prospects to a variety of LCV (and when possible, state affiliate) fundraising and cultivation events and ensure members of the Major Gifts Team do the same.
Work to ensure coordination with state affiliates to achieve fundraising goals.
Participate in high-level planning to help set both fundraising and programmatic goals.
Travel up to 20% of the time for in-person work in respective regions, Washington, DC and elsewhere for staff site visits, conferences, and donor visits.
Qualifications:
Work Experience :
Required: 7 years of experience in fundraising, 3 of which are managing other fundraising staff, including a successful track record of personally meeting with donors and closing five and six-figure gifts. Experience directly supervising staff with varying levels of experience. Significant experience directly qualifying, cultivating and soliciting major gifts prospects, including developing solicitation strategy from identification through stewardship. Significant experience contacting prospects and holding an ambitious number of donor visits per month.

LCV is hiring two Managing Directors of Development Partnerships who will be responsible for a portfolio of lead and principal level donors in a specific state or region and holds 35-50 visits with donors and prospects annually to raise the budgeted revenue for the assigned portfolio. Working schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Mercy Care is a not-for-profit Medicaid managed-care health plan, serving Arizonans since 1985. We provide access to physical and behavioral health care services, to people who are eligible for Medicaid. Our members include families, children, seniors, and individuals who have developmental/cognitive disabilities. We hold multiple contracts with AHCCCS, Arizona’s Medicaid agency, and deliver services throughout the state. Mercy Care is administered by Aetna, a CVS Health company. This gives Mercy Care the resources of a national organization, and still allows us to bring our members the familiarity and presence of a local team of people who put our members at the center of everything we do. Utilizes skills to coordinate, document and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program. -Applies critical thinking and knowledge in clinically appropriate treatment, evidence based care and medical necessity criteria for members by providing care coordination, support and education for members through the use of care management tools and resources. Evaluation of Members; Through the use of care management tools and information/data review, conducts comprehensive evaluation of referred member’s needs/eligibility and recommends an approach to case resolution and/or meeting needs by evaluating member’s benefit plan and available internal and external programs/services. -Identifies high risk factors and service needs that may impact member outcomes and care planning components with appropriate referrals. -Coordinates and implements assigned care plan activities and monitors care plan progress. Enhancement of Medical Appropriateness and Quality of Care; -Uses a holistic approach to overcome barriers to meet goals and objectives; presents cases at case conferences to obtain multidisciplinary review in order to achieve optimal outcomes. Identifies and escalates quality of care issues through established channels. -Utilizes negotiation skills to secure appropriate options and services necessary to meet the member’s benefits and/or healthcare needs. -Utilizes influencing/ motivational interviewing skills to ensure maximum member engagement and promote lifestyle/behavior changes to achieve optimum level of health. -Provides coaching, information and support to empower the member to make ongoing independent medical and/or healthy lifestyle choices. -Helps member actively and knowledgably participate with their provider in healthcare decision-making. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: Minimum: 19.50 Maximum: 38.99

Required Qualifications – 2+ years of case management experience working with people who have been designated as having a serious mental illness (SMI) and working with people who are elderly or have a physical disability. – Bilingual in Spanish (Oral and Written) – Willing and able to travel up to 35% in Maricopa County

Education – Candidates must have earned a 4-year bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, special education, or counseling, or be a licensed registered nurse.
