The key role of the Solution test group is to ensure the quality of Arista’s products through System test type testing of large, complex and feature rich end-to-end environments focusing on key technologies as well as emulating Arista’s most important and strategic customers networks by:

Monitors the facilities’ aging reports by reviewing accounts one year and older; communicates with facility resource staff on recommendations of actions.
Serves as liaison with the Department of Healthcare and Family Services auditors on hospital reimbursements due to the Department; audits hospital report vouchers for Third Party payments, Medical and Home Services payments; establishes Accounts Receivable and initiates collection activity when DHFS advises of overpayment.
Reviews and prepares quarterly Accounts Receivable reports from SAP/ERP and Accounts Receivable System (ARS) for selected types of Accounts Receivable and as mandated by the Illinois State Collection Act of 1986; maintains all necessary supporting documentation; advises management staff of any adjustments.
Assists with the disposition/resolution of audit findings relating to Accounts Receivable.
Reviews delinquent accounts to determine if criteria for write-offs are met; recommends accounts to be certified for write-off.

As Wild Animal Initiative’s first Major Gifts Officer, you will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to nurture current donors, identify prospective major donors, foster relationships, and drive fundraising efforts. You will join a growing Development team and be our first staff member dedicated to personally cultivating relationships with new and current donors to solicit the gifts that make our work possible.
You will use a donor-centric and moves-management approach to set a major gifts strategy and meet annual and long-term fundraising goals. This means that you will focus on perceiving our donors' needs, interests, and motivations and strategically guide them through various stages of engagement and solicitation. The ultimate goal is to increase funding by carefully nurturing connections and aligning donor interests with the goals of Wild Animal Initiative (WAI).
You will develop and implement strategies that foster strong donor relations and ensure that our supporters feel valued, engaged, and connected to what we're doing. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other Wild Animal Initiative departments, using your communication skills to cultivate partnerships and drive support.

General Description:
LCV Education Fund (LCVEF), in partnership with its sister organization, LCV, is one of the only major environmental groups and the biggest issue-area organization that has made significant strides and investments in democracy. The communities most affected by climate change, pollution, and environmental injustice are the same communities that our country has systematically excluded from the democratic process and who continue to face targeted efforts to limit civic participation. Beyond the threats to climate action that attacks on our democracy pose, voting rights rollbacks are fundamentally unjust and have consequences that reach far beyond the environment. A concerted effort to protect both is critical. To meet this challenge and support the ongoing growth of our democracy programs, LCVEF is seeking an exceptional writer and fundraiser to join our team.
Building on our highly regarded national nonpartisan civic engagement program that has registered and turned out millions of underrepresented voters since 2012, we are actively growing a coordinated state democracy program across our 30+ state affiliates, collectively known as the Conservation Voters Movement (CVM). In 2023 alone, this emerging program supported 140 state policy victories for voting rights and democracy and is now poised to expand with new support from funding identified through the work of this position.
The newly created role of Director of Institutional Writing and Strategy - Democracy will significantly increase funding for our democracy work at the state, regional, and federal levels and support the launch of a new Unified Fundraising pilot program. The goal of the Unified program is to combine fundraising between LCVEF and participating state affiliates, resulting in more money from more donors to power the Conservation Voters Movement.
The Director of Institutional Writing and Strategy - Democracy will join a core team charged primarily with raising $60+ million annually from foundations and other institutions to support the charitable and public education programs of LCVEF and its sister organization, LCV. Responsibilities include the creation of all written content for institutional fundraising such as grant proposals, reports, and customized impact updates for existing and prospective funders. They will be responsible for cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of current funders and prospective funders as well as guiding the overall strategy for expanding funding for our democracy policy, advocacy, and civic engagement work. This work will be achieved through close collaboration with our national program staff and our network of state affiliates. Ensure the Executive Team and relevant national and state affiliate staff are fully prepared and supported for meetings and follow-up with funders.
Ensure that funder strategies are coordinated with other members of the Institutional Giving team, especially for current funders of other programs that may also be interested in funding democracy work.
Regularly evaluate progress toward our institutional fundraising goals for democracy programs at LCVEF and LCV, flagging any places where we are off track, and identifying and implementing strong strategies to adjust the work to reach our goals.

The newly created role of Director of Institutional Writing and Strategy - Democracy will significantly increase funding for our democracy work at the state, regional, and federal levels and support the launch of a new Unified Fundraising pilot program. The goal of the Unified program is to combine fundraising between LCVEF and participating state affiliates, resulting in more money from more donors to power the Conservation Voters Movement.
The Director of Institutional Writing and Strategy - Democracy will join a core team charged primarily with raising $60+ million annually from foundations and other institutions to support the charitable and public education programs of LCVEF and its sister organization, LCV. What is an On-Call Membership Specialist?
The on-call Membership Support Specialist supports the recruitment and retention of Girl Scout volunteers and members through program delivery and logistic support of recruitment events.
They are responsible for attending community-based events where they will promote Girl Scouts, answer questions about the program, and facilitate basic activities. This position will collect contact information for prospective members and volunteers and connect them with the local Program and Membership Experience team.
The on-call Membership Support Specialist will have access to a monthly listing of work opportunities including but not limited to recruitment events, program events, and general office and administrative work.
The on-call Membership Support Specialist will work no more than 10 hours per month.
**It is required that the Membership Specialist resides within (or in close proximity to) the Western Slope Region of Colorado, USA. What is an On-Call Membership Specialist?
The on-call Membership Support Specialist supports the recruitment and retention of Girl Scout volunteers and members through program delivery and logistic support of recruitment events.
They are responsible for attending community-based events where they will promote Girl Scouts, answer questions about the program, and facilitate basic activities. This position will collect contact information for prospective members and volunteers and connect them with the local Program and Membership Experience team.
The on-call Membership Support Specialist will have access to a monthly listing of work opportunities including but not limited to recruitment events, program events, and general office and administrative work.
The on-call Membership Support Specialist will work no more than 10 hours per month.
**It is required that the Membership Specialist resides within (or in close proximity to) the Western Slope Region of Colorado, USA. Volunteer & Member Retention
Develop, cultivate, and support relationships with service unit and troop volunteers in assigned area to support delivery of Girl Scout programming.
Provide ongoing support, supervision, and direction to administrative volunteers in assigned geographic areas by interpreting Girl Scouts of the USA and council policies, standards, and procedures and by directing volunteers to additional support services.
Identify the need for and provides timely problem solving and conflict resolution support/intervention when appropriate.
Serve as the main point of contact for geographic area volunteers relaying pertinent information to council staff and to guide volunteers to additional support services and resources.
Work collaboratively with all Council departments to ensure council program and initiatives are successfully marketed to youth and adult membership.
Provide professional, superior customer service to all internal and external customers, members, volunteers, staff and other community contacts in person, electronically and by phone.
Volunteer & Member Recruitment
Through analysis of community needs, demographic data and membership statistics, develop, design and conduct recruitment and retention plan for youth and volunteer membership growth in designated geographic areas.
Establish the appropriate volunteer support team to accomplish key priorities by selecting, appointing, and coaching volunteers in assigned geographic areas.
Membership Conversion
Guide potential adult and youth members on the Salesforce pipeline through conversion by phone calls, emails, etc.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity in a timely fashion.
Coordinate the placement of registered Girl Scouts into appropriate troops.
Coordinate the placement of registered adults into appropriate volunteer roles.
Ensure that diversity and pluralism is embraced and incorporated into the daily work of the position.
Active participation in the development of environments that foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and access through words, actions, and attitude.

Supervise volunteers and maintain an accurate accounting of volunteer hours; assist Volunteer Coordinator with volunteer recruitment activities, as well as training and scheduling of volunteers assigned to warehouse or food drive duties.
Maintain an accurate weekly inventory of food stock, including completing data entry in NOLP’s inventory program.
Organize, clean and maintain the warehouse, which includes stocking freezer, cooler and shelves and preparing client pre-bagged groceries.
Drive a 5-ton truck to make deliveries and pickups.
Assist with the maintenance of the program’s delivery vehicles (e.g., cleaning and awareness of routine mechanical service).
Provide driving assistance in coordination with APLA’s revenue producing events.
Assist with the receipt of program-specific deliveries and verify shipments.
Assist with donation solicitation by maintaining NOLP’s presence during weekend food drive activities.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
High school graduate required; minimum of one year of experience interacting with the public required; experience in warehouse or stock room helpful and experience with driving delivery vehicles. Must demonstrate a history of a clean driving record.
Knowledge of:
Stockroom procedures; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred; retail food sales practices and stock room procedures preferred.
Ability to:
Drive a 5-ton truck; operate a computer using Microsoft Word and Excel; operate warehouse equipment including a forklift and pallet jack; complete assigned tasks to completion; handle multiple projects simultaneously; work and communicate with people from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds; supervise assigned volunteers; meet deadlines; function with minimal supervision; maintain complex inventory records; work in an organized and systematic fashion; respond with sensitivity to people with HIV/AIDS; demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills and professional customer service.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is primarily an active position that requires regular bending, reaching stooping, lifting and moving of stock weighing 50 pounds or more and driving a 5-ton truck to make deliveries and pickups.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid California driver’s license; proof of auto liability insurance; and have the use of a personal vehicle for work related purposes.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, assist a warehouse team responsible for organizing and maintaining a food warehouse and with increasing the efficiency and timely delivery of food pantry services to persons living with HIV/AIDS.
