Contribute to organizational efforts to infuse racial justice and equity into all aspects of our work through leading and supporting interdepartmental meetings, team building efforts and communications.
Travel up to 10% of the time for staff and select departmental retreats, meetings, conferences and professional development opportunities, as needed.
Help track RJE budget for LCV and related entities by processing all incoming invoices and working with the CORJE and Finance team to reconcile expenses on a quarterly basis to ensure accurate coding.
Work with CORJE to plan and schedule racial justice and equity trainings for all staff.
Collaborate with CORJE to craft and finalize organization-wide documents – including evaluation reports, guidance, and policies – designed to further LCV’s RJE values and goals.
Work with CORJE to support the staff RJE Working Group in monitoring its progress towards meeting annual goals.
Coordinating LCV’s Fun, Learning, Educational, and Growth Opportunities (FLEGO) League efforts to provide organizational-wide programming focused primarily on celebrating and learning about Heritage Months throughout the year.
Offer research support to CORJE for special projects, including creating and maintaining a RJE Resource Library and RJE Curriculum for LCV and our state partners.
Support the creation and tracking of contracts with consultants and other vendors, as needed.

This position includes frequent interfacing with the Executive Team, senior staff, and external partners. Responsibilities :
Team Culture and Functioning
Assist the Chief Officer for Racial Justice and Equity (CORJE) and the Chief of Staff with administrative tasks, scheduling support, writing, travel logistics, reimbursements and expense reports, as needed.
Maintain tracking for Executive Office objectives, including completing RJE board reports and updating strategic plan goals dashboards.
Provide logistical support for virtual and in-person meetings and lead note-taking and disseminating follow-up in several regularly occurring meetings.
Contribute to organizational and department efforts to infuse racial justice and equity into all aspects of our work, through leading and supporting team meetings, team building efforts, and interdepartmental communications.
Help foster a culture of inclusivity, community, collaboration, and trust, including providing opportunities to staff to build relationships across the organization and with the Executive Office.
Archive all department wide materials and documents and ensure file retention between Google Drive and organizational network drive.
Contribute to the team with other projects and duties as assigned.
Travel up to 5% including staff retreats, meetings, conferences and professional development opportunities, as needed.
Budget Support
Track Executive Office spending for LCV and related entities by processing all incoming invoices. Work with the Finance team to reconcile expenses on a quarterly basis to ensure accurate coding.
Help administer the budget creation and revision processes for the Executive Office, working with the Chief Officer for Racial Justice and Equity and the Chief of Staff to determine departmental budget needs.
Organizational Racial Justice and Equity Support
Work with CORJE to plan and schedule racial justice and equity trainings for all staff.
Collaborate with CORJE and Racial Justice and Equity Coordinator (open position) to craft and finalize organization-wide documents - including evaluation reports, guidance, and policies - designed to further LCV’s racial justice and equity values and goals.
Work with CORJE to offer staffing support for the Boards’ Ad Hoc RJE Committee.
Work with CORJE and RJE Coordinator to support the staff RJE Working Group in monitoring its progress towards meeting annual goals.
Offer research support to CORJE for special projects, including creating and maintaining a RJE Resource Library and RJE Curriculum for LCV and our state partners.
Support the creation and tracking of contracts with consultants and other vendors, as needed.
Qualifications :
Work Experience: Required - At least 1 year of experience in administrative support for a team. Preferred - Experience working directly for someone in senior leadership in an organization; experience doing so in a non-profit, political organization or campaign.
Skills: Required - Highly attentive to details and able to take ownership of routine tasks. Promotes facilitated customer service by proactively approaching customers to offer assistance.
Explains library regulations and procedures, and resolves basic patron issues.
Conducts in-office research appointments with library patrons.
Prepares library guides, handouts, bibliographies, and other research tools.
Identifies, evaluates, and stays current with emerging trends, resources, practices and standards in electronic resource management, usage statistics, data management, access, and discovery to enhance library services.
Responds to the library’s Ask Us and Book a Librarian requests. Provides answers directly to patrons in a timely manner or may refer the question to the appropriate staff member or department.
This position will be assigned the role of Person in Charge (PIC) at the Rawlings Library on a regular basis to respond to any escalated customer service, emergency, or security issues and will work closely with the security officer on duty.
Supports team efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff by maintaining awareness of surroundings and working in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
Participates in regularly scheduled department meetings. Attends All Staff Development Days and other training sessions to acquire new skills and to stay current on all information that is pertinent to PCCLD.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Masters Degree in Library Science from a college or university accredited by the American Library Association. One year of library experience required, preferably in a public library setting.

Hope College is seeking the next Mary Riepma Ross Director of Special Collections, an endowed, 11 month non-tenure track faculty position within the library. Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, this position is responsible for the management of physical and financial resources, planning and implementation of programming and policies, teaching, community outreach and security of archival and rare book collections. The Archivist ensures that the collections represent the broadest possible spectrum of viewpoints and human experience in accordance with Hope’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
Special Collections at Hope College include the Joint Archives of Holland, and the Van Wylen Library Rare Books Collection . The Archives is housed in the Theil Research Center on Hope College’s campus. It serves as a regional center for local history research, specializing in Hope College, the history of the Dutch in America and the Holland, Michigan, area. The Archives has a strong record of mentoring undergraduate research and writing. The collections include works and writings from Hope College students and faculty, records from administrative offices, photographs, recordings, and videos documenting the history of the College from 1866 to present, the community of Holland, and Reformed Church in America missionaries. It currently shares the building with the Van Raalte Institute . ArchiveSpace was implemented in 2021 and many of the digitized materials are held in Digital Commons and in Artstor Public Collections , two online repositories. As a member of the library staff, this position works closely with nine faculty librarians and serves on the Library Leadership Team.
The Rare Books Collection at Van Wylen LIbrary, contains many rare Bibles, and volumes related to art, religion, Dutch history, Asian history and the history of science and aspires to be illustrative of the history of books and print culture.

Overview
Faunalytics is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that empowers animal advocates with access to research, analysis, strategies, and messages that maximize their effectiveness to reduce animal suffering. Our team is dedicated to helping animals by providing useful information to advocates to help them increase their impact. Working alongside the the Executive Director, Faunalytics’ Philanthropy Officer will help raise funds for the organization’s research and programs via:
Donor Development:
Support the Executive Director in executing the organization’s Fundraising Plan.
Assist with overall fundraising efforts, including donor research, outreach, and engagement (individuals, employee matching, and corporate giving).
Design and execute a strategy for engaging donors in online peer-to-peer/social media fundraising.
Support the development and execution of Faunalytics’ Spring fundraising campaign and annual Giving Tuesday/Year-End fundraising efforts.
Assist in growing monthly donor support and reengaging lapsed donors.
Assist in developing a program for support through trusts and bequests.
Grants Management:
Identify new funding opportunities from philanthropic foundations.

Essential Qualifications
Belief in Faunalytics’ mission and animal protection
Three or more years of nonprofit development/fundraising experience
Meticulous attention to detail
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Self-driven and able to work remotely with limited oversight
Ability to work effectively as part of a small team, including a willingness to help other team members as needed
Familiarity with Google for business (Docs/Sheets/Drive)
Preferred Qualifications
Commitment to a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
Five or more years of nonprofit development/fundraising experience for an animal-related organization
Familiarity with social science research
Familiarity with effective animal advocacy and effective altruism
Familiarity with communication tools including Slack and Asana
Familiarity with Eleo (donor software)
Familiarity with Quickbooks Online

Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week, flexible)
Salary: $21-$23/hr USD (depending on experience and education)

Overview
Faunalytics is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that empowers animal advocates with access to research, analysis, strategies, and messages that maximize their effectiveness to reduce animal suffering. Our team is dedicated to helping animals by providing useful information to advocates to help them increase their impact. Our work involves maintaining an extensive animal advocacy research library , conducting original research on topics that are important to the animal protection movement, and working directly with other organizations to ensure they have the insight and information they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
Working alongside the the Executive Director, Faunalytics’ Philanthropy Officer will help raise funds for the organization’s research and programs via:
Donor Development:
Support the Executive Director in executing the organization’s Fundraising Plan.
Assist with overall fundraising efforts, including donor research, outreach, and engagement (individuals, employee matching, and corporate giving).
Design and execute a strategy for engaging donors in online peer-to-peer/social media fundraising.
Support the development and execution of Faunalytics’ Spring fundraising campaign and annual Giving Tuesday/Year-End fundraising efforts.
Assist in growing monthly donor support and reengaging lapsed donors.
Assist in developing a program for support through trusts and bequests.
Grants Management:
Identify new funding opportunities from philanthropic foundations.
Assist with developing proposals, applications, and reports for foundation grants.
Manage grant reporting calendar and accurately track and monitor grant funds.
Administrative:
Responsible for gift processing (data entry into our donor software and gift acknowledgement).
