Qualifications
Education and Experience:

Job Summary
Clark County is looking for an experienced Lands Program Coordinator II. The position is located within the Public Works Department, Parks and Lands Division, and is responsible for coordinating program and land management activities on the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad and in the Legacy Lands program. The most extensive work will be with division staff and community partners on managing the current 7,000 acres of Legacy Lands portfolio, managing the Legacy Lands program, and coordinating future acquisitions. In addition, the coordinator will serve in a support role in managing the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad, which will require the management of a rail advisory board, and coordination with other division sections and other Public Works divisions to complete maintenance projects on the railroad.

Job Summary
Clark County is looking for an experienced Lands Program Coordinator II. The position is located within the Public Works Department, Parks and Lands Division, and is responsible for coordinating program and land management activities on the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad and in the Legacy Lands program. The most extensive work will be with division staff and community partners on managing the current 7,000 acres of Legacy Lands portfolio, managing the Legacy Lands program, and coordinating future acquisitions. In addition, the coordinator will serve in a support role in managing the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad, which will require the management of a rail advisory board, and coordination with other division sections and other Public Works divisions to complete maintenance projects on the railroad.
The Program Coordinator works under limited supervision of an Engineering Service Manager III, the Lands Manager.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Program Coordinator II positions typically require a job related Bachelor’s degree; and/or a combination of experience and specialized training which includes a minimum of two (2) years of experience within the assigned area. A Master’s degree in natural resources management or related field is preferred.
