LIGHTING WIRING AND ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Position Summary:
We are a rapidly growing high-end and hand-crafted lighting and furniture company in Port Richmond. We are seeking a person to join our expanding lighting wiring/assembly team. This is a full-time position that is available immediately. Competitive starting wage and benefits.
Primary and Secondary Responsibilities include:
- Monitor incoming glass and metal component and subassembly quality - QC review for standard quality elements. Communicate issues to leadership.
- Perform work as directed/assigned by leadership - report issues and problems to leadership.
- Learn all necessary wiring and assembly set-ups.
- Learn and follow approved process protocols and documentation.
- Monitor quality throughout assembly process and report issues to leadership as they arise.
- Communicate and work with team members to assure adequate and timely completion of work assignments.
- Maintain organized and clean work area.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities as requested.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to Company safety policies and procedures.
- Consistently work to improve performance and model successful work behavior.
- Participate in training and development programs for employees as appropriate.
- Demonstrate effective team member skills with open and positive communication regarding production, safety and quality issues
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with high-end lighting a plus.
- A team player with personal integrity, strong initiative and commitment to achieving company goals.
- Strong problem solving and verbal communication skills.
- Wiring/lighting manufacturing experience not necessary, but is a plus.
