General Production Worker (CJ Foods Manufacturing Beaumont Corporation)

Summary: 

• Under direct supervision the Employee is responsible for basic product handling to convert raw material into finished goods. This includes moving, weighing, forming, mixing, packaging and cleaning.

• Common Tasks
  • Work with raw materials and production machinery
  • Operate production line equipment
  • Assemble goods on a production line
  • Report equipment faults to maintenance staff
  • Monitor the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks
  • Log ingredient usage and codes on the paper
  • Clean and maintain work areas and machinery
• Dough Maker Room
  • Operate the dough maker machine
  • Move the flour by operating the forklift
  • Put the flour into the dough maker machine
  • Mix dough ingredients according to the formula
  • Move the dough rack to the Forming Room
• Filling Mixer Room
  • Operate the mixer, chopper and grinder machines
  • Operate the pallet jack and forklift
  • Put the raw meats into the grinder with shovel
  • Put grinded meats and vegetables into the mixer
  • Move the mixer wagon to the Forming Room
  • Move sauce container
  • Mix filling ingredients according to formula
• Forming Room
  • Operate the machines
  • Clean the machines
  • Assemble and disassemble the machines
  • Move the mixer wagon
  • Move the dough container
  • Put the dough into the machines
  • Sorting out defective products
• Packing Room
  • Inspect product coming out of the cooling tunnel
  • Bag products on the manual packing machine
  • Keep packing room neat and organized
  • Clean the machines
  • Move out trashes
  • Operate the machines such as the bag sealer
  • Move product bags
  • Palletize and bring products to the freezer
• Boxing Room
  • Operate the pallet jack and forklift
  • Boxing the products
  • Load boxes on the pallet
  • Wrap the pallet
  • Label the products
  • Make boxes
  • Move pallets with forklift

Qualification

• Education: High School Diploma preferred
• Experience: Production experience preferred
• Language Skills: Bilingual(English/Spanish) preferred
• Must have eligibility to work in the U.S.

Working Condition

• Endure working in a cold environment and experience temperature changes
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. frequently during shift
• Must be flexible and able to work different shifts (day, swing & graveyard)
