Promote collections, particularly materials unique to UT, through digital projects, UTL communication venues, and collaborative initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Assistant Librarian: Master of Library Science, or equivalent library science degree.
Librarian : Master of Library Science, or equivalent library science degree, and four or more years of professional work experience.
A demonstrated interest in building the skills and expertise needed to - support advanced education scholars who are working on thesis/dissertation literature reviews - consult on systematic reviews or evidence synthesis work - assist researchers in finding current and historic education data and legislation.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, assist a warehouse team responsible for organizing and maintaining a food warehouse and with increasing the efficiency and timely delivery of food pantry services to persons living with HIV/AIDS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver food and hygiene items to NOLP’s food pantry sites, including those managed by collaborative agencies.
Unload site’s weekly food delivery and set up food preparation shelves.
Distribute NOLP’s groceries to clients as needed.
Assist in completing intake on incoming clients and volunteers when needed, always behaving in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner.
Fill in as needed for NOLP’s Site Coordinators at NOLP locations.
Supervise volunteers and maintain an accurate accounting of volunteer hours; assist Volunteer Coordinator with volunteer recruitment activities, as well as training and scheduling of volunteers assigned to warehouse or food drive duties.
Maintain an accurate weekly inventory of food stock, including completing data entry in NOLP’s inventory program.
Organize, clean and maintain the warehouse, which includes stocking freezer, cooler and shelves and preparing client pre-bagged groceries.
Drive a 5-ton truck to make deliveries and pickups.
Assist with the maintenance of the program’s delivery vehicles (e.g., cleaning and awareness of routine mechanical service).
Provide driving assistance in coordination with APLA’s revenue producing events.
Assist with the receipt of program-specific deliveries and verify shipments.
Assist with donation solicitation by maintaining NOLP’s presence during weekend food drive activities.

Training and Experience:

POSITION SUMMARY:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Dental Clinic Manager, the Dental Office Coordinators primary responsibility is to act in the best interest of the patient by providing patient-centered care. Assist in keeping patients' appointments on schedule by notifying the back office of patients arrival.

Manage and retrieve incoming faxes in RingCentral
Coordinate transportation for patients as needed.
Obtain a breakdown of benefits and eligibility by calling the patients Insurance Company
Verify and record eligibility for the following Insurances and Manage Care plans: Medi-Cal, Liberty Dental, Access Dental, Health Net of California Dental, Cigna Dental, and Delta Dental, and all out-of-network plans
Verify if the patient is eligible for services under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program or My Health LA program
Update Casewatch eligibility every 6 months as required by the DHSP Program.
Ensure that all eligible patients under the RW Program sign the service agreement form required by DHSP; the following documents are required: Proof of Income, Proof of Residency, Current Diagnosis Form ( Lab work for established patients)
Coordinate and ensure all dental notes, referral information and required documentation is complete and submitted to the referral entity in a timely mannered.
Act as the petty cash custodian for the dental clinic under the supervision of the Dental Clinic Manager.
Collect payment from patients before services are rendered when necessary.
Act as liaison between dental providers and Finance Department as it relates to billing.
Assist with all Grant Funded Audits. Provide technical and administrative support for the auditors.
Work closely with management regarding client grievances and concerns about treatment.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the Direction of the Program Manager of the Necessities of Life Program (NOLP), promote access to food and nutrition education services to people living with HIV through the distribution of food and personal hygiene item, coordination of identifying vendors and purchasing food pantry food stock that meet the dietary requirements of the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze NOLP food inventory using food analysis software.
In partnership with the programs Registered Dietician, develop monthly food menus for the programs food distributions to clients.
Locate new food vendors, purchasing food stock and entering food acquisitions in the programs computerized inventory software.
Work with the Program Manager to monitor food expenditures.
Work with the Regional Food Bank to secure donated and low-cost food items.
Work with the programs Inventory Specialist to manage food rotation and reduce food waste.
Assist clients with completion of NOLP application forms and related paperwork and data entry.
Prepare and complete NOLP client eligibility interviews, including scheduling, reviewing NOLP application materials and making an assessment for the purpose of determining eligibility for the NOLP program both within the agency and by outside referral agencies.
As necessary, assist with the distributing groceries to clients. Ensure that the food pantries are clean and meets health code requirements as mandated by the Los Angeles County Department of Health.
Provide supervision to interns and volunteers working in the food pantries, as necessary.
Provide direction on distribution of food product to program staff.
Attend community meetings to promote the NOLP program and encourage client referrals
Participate in events that promote gain of knowledge to support good health outcomes for NOLPs clients.
Assist with the completion of monthly reports.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience working with vendors and food purchasing preferred; documented completion of coursework in food nutrition and prior experience in community nutrition and quality control preferred.
Bachelors degree in health education with an emphasis in nutrition preferred. Previous experience in HIV social services and nutritional resources in L.A. County preferred. Fluent in Spanish language preferred and ability to present material in Spanish language and translate written material also preferred.
Knowledge of:
Food safety, basic nutrition science and terminology, word processing, database operations, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and internet searches, i.e., writing blogs for webpages.
Ability to:
Develop workshop curricula, factsheets and health education materials. Conduct basic nutrition science research for the development of nutrition education materials. Communicate effectively with a diverse population. Identify and update community resources; operate standard office equipment including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and meet assigned deadlines.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is primarily an office position that requires only occasional bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and moving of office materials weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires daily use of a personal computer and requires entering, viewing, and revising text and graphics on the computer terminal and on paper.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid California drivers license; proof of auto liability insurance; and have the use of a personal vehicle for work related purposes. Position will require local travel to NOLPs food pantry locations.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Nursing Director, the Registered Nurse will provide culturally competent medical health services to low-income individuals in Los Angeles County, with a specific focus on the LGBT community.
The Registered Nurse will assure quality and cost-effective care for clinic patients, and will manage a patient’s course of treatment, and coordinate care with providers and other clinical support staff to ensure quality patient outcomes are achieved within established time frames with efficient utilization of resources. In addition, the Registered Nurse will work closely with the Medical Director and Nursing Supervisor to design, implement and monitor workflow processes throughout all APLA Health sites as it pertains to patient centered medical home (PCMH) implementation. This position is primarily clinical.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide clinical support to medical providers before and after primary care visits so as to ensure the timely delivery of quality medical care.
Interface with medical assistants to ensure patients receive specialty referrals in a timely manner and are able to follow through so as not to interrupt patient care.
Treat patients diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in a timely manner and according to APLAHW clinical STI treatment guidelines.
Administer vaccines to patients per APLAHW clinical guidelines.
Provide and appropriately document health education to patients.
Participate in quality improvement activities as directed by the medical director, e.g. data analysis and measurement of outcomes, document and report the results and accomplishments of quality improvement initiatives.
Triage patients who walk in to clinic or call with acute medical concerns.
Assist front office staff in making appropriate arrangements for patients who arrive late for appointments or for whom an appointment needs to be rescheduled, by reviewing the medical record and determining how soon and where the patient should be seen.

What will you do? As the Universally Offered Home Visiting (UoHV) Initiative Manager , you will direct, coordinate, supervise, and provide leadership for the MCH UoHV initiative, Family Connects Oregon project. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Leading and guiding program activities following federal regulations, state rules and policies, and fiscal requirements.
Providing leadership, policy advice, legislative coordination, business analysis and operations planning, project management, and evaluation expertise to develop, plan and implement the Family Connect Oregon program throughout the state.
