Pick Up and Delivery Technician

ERS/ART is a disaster restoration company specializing in the restoration of electronics and artwork for insurance claims. We are currently searching for a reliable pick-up/delivery professional to join our team.

                We are looking for that special candidate who has a strong work ethic, is detailed oriented and looking for an opportunity to grow within a dynamic company. This is an entry-level position so if you want to get in on the ground floor of a growing company, this opportunity is for you!

                You will be asked to work in locations affected by fire, smoke, and water. The working conditions may contain smoke particulate, a fire-charred environment, standing and dripping water, and any other conditions that may result in an insurance claim. The sites may be cold, hot, and/or humid due to weather conditions. Notice to dispatch to a site is often without advance warning. You will encounter homeowners and family members that have recently suffered traumatic losses. It is necessary that possess empathy to successfully interact with them.

Primary job responsibilities Include:

The job duties for this position will vary from day to day and may include (but not limited to):

• Driving Company Vehicles- (16ft & 26 ft Box Truck)
• Inventory, document, and photograph electronics and artwork
• Remove, protect, and transport items from insured home or business
• Cooperate with other team members and perform duties assigned
• Inspect own work and ensure that it is complete, thorough, and meets ERS/ART quality standards, and meets or exceeds customer expectations

Job requirements include:

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT health screening
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, move 100 lbs. assisted & able to stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service skills; providing "high touch" service to our clients.
• Exhibit a professional, clean appearance that represents the ERS/ART brand
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of basic PC operations
• Solid multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
