Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Assist with managing the operational, financial and personnel functions of the Athletic Ticket Office.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with managing and participate in the daily operational functions of the Athletic Ticket Office, as directed.
  • Supervise support staff; train, schedule assignments, provide customer service problem resolutions.
  • Coordinate ticket sale functions for Olympic sporting events and non-athletic events like concerts, tournaments, etc.; provide staffing and scheduling of support services staff, event reconciliation, and management reporting.
  • Coordinate consignment ticket sales functions including away events.
  • Assist Manager by supervising customer services functions and assist in resolving problems; report issues of concern to supervisor.
  • Assist in administering all ticket policies, procedures, and practices; confer with Manager on appropriate interpretation of same.
  • Assist in developing annual budget and monitoring expenditures.
  • Completes daily Ticket Office deposit; working with the Athletic Business Office to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform Accounting duties.
  • Assist with special projects, as directed.
  • May travel occasionally as related to events, conferences, or meetings.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree

Required education, licensure, certification, registration or other requirement: None

 

Preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of General accounting principles
  • Ticket management operations and/or procedure skills
  • Planning and Scheduling techniques
  • Customer service standards and procedures
  • Planning and scheduling techniques.
