Elon University is seeking an Associate Director of the Kernodle Center for Civic Life who can provide overall leadership for the co-curricular programs in the Kernodle Center for Civic Life. This position will coordinate the Elon Volunteers! program and oversee areas such as GivePulse and service hour validation, assessment and evaluation, risk management and emergency protocols, alumni engagement, donor management, Leaders in Collaborative Service (LINCS) program, America Reads Federal Work Study program, and the Education and Youth Development and Human Rights and Advocacy clusters. Coordination with community partners and student affairs and academic affairs departments across campus is an essential part of the work. The Associate Director supervises the Assistant Director, Graduate Apprentice, and student staff. The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in higher education or related field with 3 – 5 years of progressive post-master’s experience in community and civic engagement, or a related functional area in higher education.
