Elon University is looking for an Instructional Technologist/AV Coordinator who supports the mission of Elon University and the School of Law by working with faculty and staff to identify and apply contemporary instructional technologies to enhance student learning and support strategic campus initiatives. The position provides expert guidance in the application of instructional technologies, and provides consulting, training, and support in the use of both existing and emerging technologies. Additionally, the Instructional Technologist helps with audio-visual (A/V) coordination and support at School of Law events. This position is at the Elon University School of Law's Greensboro campus. Master’s degree preferred in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Media, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design or similar field. Bachelor’s degree required with one to three years of demonstrated work experience in these areas, preferably in a higher education environment. Must have outstanding communication and consultative skills and must be able to apply these skills with faculty and staff at all educational levels. Must be detail-oriented, have excellent time management and organizational skills, and be able to effectively lead and execute projects and initiatives. Must be able to work both independently and be a team player. Must have a demonstrated broad knowledge of instructional technology tools and their use in teaching and learning as well as audio-visual equipment for supporting events.
