Job Summary
The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Specialist will be a thought partner to the director for DEIB to plan and execute on key DEIB priorities.

Job-Specific Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with the Director and other responsible leaders to provide research and recommendations supporting best practices, developing content, curriculum, toolkits, and cases.
• Plan and create tools, presentations, and other material to support on-going learning and programming.
• Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Human Resource to plan and deliver DEIB support to HGSE staff.
• Review and analyze data for trends to inform decision making, including putting information into presentation format highlighting key areas of information.
• Assist with offering the DEIB lens in department specific meetings and consultations.
• Facilitate affinity space(s) and conversations about DEIB with faculty and staff, and students as needed.
• Represent HGSE on internal and Harvard wide committees or workgroups as needed.
• Manage logistical details of all programming, events, materials, communications, etc.
• Responsible for DEIB website content and updates.
• Other duties as needed

Basic Qualifications
Previous work experience working specifically on issues of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. A cover letter must be submitted with your resume in order to be considered for this position.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
Deep knowledge about DEIB topics and identities in order to educate and support the HGSE community; Exceptionally strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to cultivate and nurture strong and trusting relationships across a variety of identities; familiarity with reporting tools and the ability to analyze information; previous experience using technology to facilitate and support DEIB initiatives; previous experience facilitating difficult conversations about identity;
