Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to administer the company’s freight and delivery operations. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of inbound and outbound freight as well as scheduling equipment deliveries via the company’s straight trucks. This is a critical position that will work directly with management and sales personnel in the company. We are looking for someone who will take our processes to the next level. Key duties include:

  • Plan and schedule deliveries and interoffice transfers via company’s straight trucks and contracted carriers.  
  • Provide all associated paperwork to drivers.
  • Contact customers to arrange delivery appointments.
  • Provide LTL and TL freight quotes. 
  • Prepare LTL, Volume and TL shipment bill of ladings.
  • Manage equipment weights and dimensions in database.  
  • Coordinate and process damage claims.  
  • Maintain 3PL vendor relationships.

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organized, personable with previous logistics experience.  The individual should be comfortable making decisions along with assigning work to drivers. This position requires a detail-oriented individual, focused on efficiency and quality to get the job done right the first time.

Minimum one (1) year of logistics experience
