Full-Time Construction/Landscaping Field Supervisor - Charlotte (Belmont)

Job Responsibilities

Proactively engage and build rapport with key clients to assure relationship, quality work and generate further business.

LEAD. Be on top of all issues in your region and driver performance, accountability, cost control, vendor and client relations.

Work with Operations staff at Alpha EMC to assure all entries (Field Aware), Work Quality Statements (WQS), process adherence, PO submittal and cost controls are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.

Work with General Manager of EFS to assure clients are pleased and deliverables are executed on time and with 100% quality.

Manages all costs: Labor, overtime, equipment, tools, fuel, vehicles, and inventory.

Assure SWPPP items are signed off upon when complete.

Audit work performed by crews to assure proper installation, service, completion of work, and that crews are working in a safe manner.

Supervise crew-level preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment to assure maximum up time and usage.

Maintain facilities and equipment/material storage yard so they are well organized, clean and free from debris and hazardous conditions.

Lead crew on proper demeanor, performance and execution of work on job sites.

Hold regular (at least weekly) meetings with entire team to go over expectations including safety focuses.

Suggest additional services to clients in which are engaged.

Hire, Develop and dismiss team members and to assure a high performing and high integrity team.

Train crew on proper safety techniques and proper processes.

Assure that all team member’s voice mail, email, phone communication and all forms of interaction is done professionally and adheres to Alpha’s standards.

Follow guidelines built to assist in creating efficiency and value. (i.e. contact with supervisor, sign off of work by supervisor, timely submittal of compensation logs and other efficiency concepts placed into action).

Requirements

AA/AS degree, a related technical field, or equivalent experience

At least 3 years of work experience in field leadership

Physically capable of working outdoors full time

Able to illustrate organization, leadership, and communication skills

Comfortable and capable using technology

Proficient in Microsoft Office
