Purpose Reporting to the Head of Printed & Published Media and Metadata Services, the Manager for Bibliographic Description serves as the lead cataloger of the unit, engaging in original and complex copy cataloging of modern and early printed books, manuscripts, serials, maps, visual materials, and other special formats; as well as activities geared to assure quality control, maintenance and remediation of the library catalog.
In consultation with the unit head, the Manager for Bibliographic Description establishes and monitors departmental workflows related to new acquisitions cataloging and serials receiving, and takes the lead in developing policies and procedures to ensure efficient, accurate, and effective cataloging of rare books and special formats. This position supervises a library assistant and has an essential role in serving as primary contact for public services staff on issues related to bibliographic descriptions, and maintaining the cataloging manual in the department wiki. Depending on ongoing projects, the Manager for Bibliographic Description might also hire, supervise and provide ongoing training of student assistant(s) and interns.
Success in this position requires a commitment to professional development activities and professional service, in order to stay informed of evolving cataloging trends, and changes in best practices and standards.
Responsibilities
Performs original and complex copy cataloging according to local and national standards appropriate for modern and early printed books, manuscripts, serials, maps, visual materials, and other special formats.
Supports quality control of bibliographic records, engaging in catalog maintenance, enhancement and remediation activities, including collaboration with UT Libraries and batch record manipulation with data tools and analytics.
Contributes to the PCC NACO program, and alternative entity management registries, including wikidata.
In consultation with the unit head, establishes and monitors departmental workflows related to new acquisitions cataloging and serials receiving. Serves as primary contact for public services staff on issues related to the library catalog.
In consultation with the unit head, takes the lead in developing policies and procedures related to bibliographic control to ensure efficient, accurate, and effective cataloging of rare books and special formats. Maintains and systematically updates the cataloging manual in the departmental wiki.
Supervises and provides ongoing training of library assistant(s), student assistant(s), and interns in the department.
Takes part in professional development activities, including attending workshops, webinars, and conferences, to stay informed of evolving cataloging trends, and changes in best practices and standards.
Participates in weekly and occasional weekend public services or reference work.
Required Qualifications
Masters in Library and/or Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution or equivalent institution
Experience with the use of current standards for bibliographic control, including MARC21, RDA, and the DCRM suite, as well as authority control practices
Experience with OCLC Connexion or a similar bibliographic utility and the technical services related functions of a library services platform
Experience working in a special collections technical services environment
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, balance multiple responsibilities, and adjust accordingly to changing priorities, needs, and deadlines
Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and data/metadata formats
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Summary:

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration, Accounting with a healthcare emphasis, Nursing Management, or related healthcare/business discipline. Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
-A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations, preferably in a multi-specialty group practice or medical center setting.

This valuable team member is responsible for implementation and management of the Medical Center, Medical Center Laboratory, IV Suite, and Neil Riordan Center business operating procedures and regulations, ensuring evidence-based best practices are established and followed, assuring full compliance of all regulations regarding patient, employee, and student safety, engaging marketing efforts to increase patient volume and enhance brand positioning, and assuring established financial KPIs are achieved. Alongside the Chief Medical Officer and the Associate Dean for Naturopathic Clinical Education, the DOCC will engage in continuous improvement efforts and establishing and supporting programs that drive community access to Sonoran’s healthcare services. Reporting to the DOCC is the Sr. Practice Manager and her staff of Patient Service Representatives, Medical Assistants, and Lab Technicians.

The Director of Operations, Clinical Care will:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, assist a warehouse team responsible for organizing and maintaining a food warehouse and with increasing the efficiency and timely delivery of food pantry services to persons living with HIV/AIDS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver food and hygiene items to NOLP’s food pantry sites, including those managed by collaborative agencies.
Unload site’s weekly food delivery and set up food preparation shelves.
Distribute NOLP’s groceries to clients as needed.
Assist in completing intake on incoming clients and volunteers when needed, always behaving in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner.
Fill in as needed for NOLP’s Site Coordinators at NOLP locations.
Supervise volunteers and maintain an accurate accounting of volunteer hours; assist Volunteer Coordinator with volunteer recruitment activities, as well as training and scheduling of volunteers assigned to warehouse or food drive duties.
Maintain an accurate weekly inventory of food stock, including completing data entry in NOLP’s inventory program.
Organize, clean and maintain the warehouse, which includes stocking freezer, cooler and shelves and preparing client pre-bagged groceries.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, assist a warehouse team responsible for organizing and maintaining a food warehouse and with increasing the efficiency and timely delivery of food pantry services to persons living with HIV/AIDS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver food and hygiene items to NOLP’s food pantry sites, including those managed by collaborative agencies.
Unload site’s weekly food delivery and set up food preparation shelves.
Distribute NOLP’s groceries to clients as needed.
Assist in completing intake on incoming clients and volunteers when needed, always behaving in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner.
Fill in as needed for NOLP’s Site Coordinators at NOLP locations.

Maintain an accurate weekly inventory of food stock, including completing data entry in NOLP’s inventory program.

Drive a 5-ton truck to make deliveries and pickups.
Assist with the maintenance of the program’s delivery vehicles (e.g., cleaning and awareness of routine mechanical service).
Provide driving assistance in coordination with APLA’s revenue producing events.
Assist with the receipt of program-specific deliveries and verify shipments.
Assist with donation solicitation by maintaining NOLP’s presence during weekend food drive activities.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
High school graduate required; minimum of one year of experience interacting with the public required; experience in warehouse or stock room helpful and experience with driving delivery vehicles. Must demonstrate a history of a clean driving record.
Knowledge of:
Stockroom procedures; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred; retail food sales practices and stock room procedures preferred.
Ability to:

Cook/Chef General Duties: The Camp Cook/Chef is responsible for providing meals for campers and staff during summer camp program. Occasional extended hours may be required. Access to sensitive materials/information and confidentiality is required. Head Cook/Chef General Duties: The Camp Cook/Chef is responsible for overseeing kitchen staff, providing meals for campers and staff during summer camp program. This includes preparing meals for special diets, cleaning and organizing kitchen and appliances, general cleaning, and maintaining meal records. A primary function of this, and every other job at Sky High Ranch, is to ensure that each member, guest, and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
Prepare meals for 175 +/- people per meal.
Prepares all meals on time as scheduled or assigned.
Ensures special food requirements for both campers and staff, e.g., food allergies, gluten-free and vegetarian diets are managed with utmost importance for 100% accuracy.
Responsible for ensuring food items are readily available for staff on weekends.
Partners with administrative staff to plan, prepare, and deliver timely and accurate pack-out and travel camp food.
Works with Program Director to create prep sheets for special event orders.
Check menus daily for any required advance preparation; Prepare and assign production and prep work for Prep/Assistant Cooks to complete.
Observe methods of food preparation, cooking, and sizes of portions to ensure food is adequately prepared.
Ensure proper cooking methods and recipes are followed.
Perform quality audits and specs checks, including temp checks on food items and dish machines.
Ensures that CDPHE Food Regulations are being followed by all kitchen staff; Performs daily temperature checks for coolers and products.
Assists with breakdown of workstation and completion of closing duties ensuring all Prep/Assistant Cooks' and Dishwashers' assignments are completed before they sign out.
"Head Cook/Chef", as designated by Program Director, shall be responsible for:
Menu planning, recipe creation, and ensures overall functionality of the kitchen.
May assist in food ordering as directed by Program Director.
Partner with Program Director to make recipe or menu changes so that foods will be utilized before expiration date to eliminate waste as much as possible.
Partner with Program Director to reward and recognize staff for individual and team success.
Performs check in of all incoming food supply orders (verifies amount ordered vs invoice amount, ensures it is properly stored and rotated).
Contribute as a leader of the department by supervising Prep/Assistant Cook and Dishwashing staff on improving operational efficiencies as needed.
Ensure and promote the sanitary integrity of the facility, equipment, and food products.
Maintains kitchen cleanliness and proper food preparation according to state and local health department code requirements and departmental procedures.
Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
Regularly sanitizes kitchen surfaces throughout the day; Assists in daily deep cleaning of specific areas in the kitchen, e.g., floors, counters, overs, stoves, fridges, etc.
Washes hands frequently while working in the kitchen and in accordance with CDPHE health regulations.
Keeps stock rooms, coolers, and freezers clean; Ensures that food supplies are rotated, and all perishables are labeled, dated and stored properly.
Assists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
Assists Kitchen Manager in inventory requests, as requested.
Reports any accidents or injuries to manager/director.
Respects the confidential nature of all information pertaining to staff, volunteers, and girls.
Lives by the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
All other duties as assigned.

Must possess current SERV Safe Certification.
Must possess, or be willing to obtain, current First Aid/CPR certification.
Experience
Minimum of six months experience in an industrial kitchen, required.
Prior experience cooking and serving 175 +/- people per day, required.
Documented experience in meal preparation for those with restricted diets and/or food allergies, required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient understanding of sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
Proficient understanding of nutrition guidelines, food handling techniques, preparation (including safe preparation of food for those with restricted diets and allergies) and cooking procedures.
Proficient understanding of food allergies and food related diseases, and the ingredients that may cause the allergy/disease.
Must understand and comply with food safety and temperature standards.
Must understand safe use of common kitchen cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
