Starting Salary $75,000. Pay may increase depending on experience
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience (four to eight years of work experience in a related field) required
Minimum two years of supervisory/leadership experience
Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
A current, valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes is required.
Basic computer skills are required. Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications.

Manage the collection operations within the territory to ensure achievement of annual collection goals in the most cost efficient and effective manner possible.

Manage the collection operations within the territory to ensure achievement of annual collection goals in the most cost efficient and effective manner possible.
Establish and oversee deployment of appropriate staffing levels to ensure the efficient and effective collection of blood and blood products to meet annual collection goals and regional patient need.
Develop and supervise departmental supervisors and other collections staff in accordance with personnel policies and bargaining unit contracts, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and hiring and firing decisions, to enhance success of operation and minimize turnover.
Ensure effective internal and external communication between all department levels and functions to foster teamwork and enhance operational success.
Pay Information:
Starting rate $97,440. Pay may increase depending on experience
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
3 years of supervisory or management experience required
Excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, analyze problems and implement appropriate solutions, and assimilate information quickly.
Ability to work independently while developing functioning teams among staff.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to deal with all levels of staff, hospital personnel, physicians, volunteers and donors.
Basic computer skills are required. Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: We are seeking customer-focused, outgoing and compassionate individuals to contact blood donors and schedule appointments in our fast-paced environment. Service Agents follow scripting and have excellent attention to detail. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD: Key Responsibilities: Contact blood donors by telephone using a dialer system to recruit for blood donation. Use information from multiple computer systems simultaneously to target appropriate blood drives for donor, update donor records as needed and to record outcomes of calls. Schedule appointments while providing positive service experience to maximize donor show rates. Follow a process and appropriate scripting for conducting a call with a donor, to ensure a consistent donor experience. Maintain daily production standard, including phone calls and appointments per hour, to meet established collection goals. Develop a working knowledge of donor criteria to inform donors of eligibility and reduce deferral rates. Maintain accurate records of donors/groups contacted and appointments scheduled to avoid errors, poor customer relations and to ensure sufficient donor availability. May develop new leads and implement new donor recruitment programs to ensure an increased donor base and an adequate blood supply. Respond to or transfer inbound calls to the appropriate party. Handles customer inquiries and requests in a professional, courteous, helpful and timely manner. Prepares and maintains all account files including correspondence, operational records, and customer surveys to ensure accurate documentation of blood drive activity. Assists team in system data integrity. Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer telerecruiters within assigned groups to assist in meeting collection objectives and to comply with all relevant regulations, procedures and directives. Using approved templates and/or campaign materials, may localize blood drive collateral (posters, flyers, table tents, paycheck stuffers) to include location, date, time, goal, etc. Provides review and initiates applicable follow up for the Print Cost Model and exceptions process. Sends blood drive confirmations to blood drive coordinators/blood drive sponsors and ARC Chapters on an annual, semi-annual and/or quarterly basis. Sends thank you notes to customers to help ensure the prospect for future customer activity with ARCB Handles all inside sales support for assigned Recruitment District team. Includes management of the donor pre-sign up process, CRM Status Report review, and DRMS Condensed Report review with Reps for accuracy. May manage High School scholarship tracking and check requests. May manage inventory and distribution of donor premiums/giveaway items. Assists in orientation for new team members. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD: Confirms all information regarding blood drives with blood drive coordinators/blood drive sponsors and communicates details (refreshment requests, hold dates, hours of operation, staffing, directions, volunteer needs, collateral materials needed, special equipment, and cancellations) to production planning staff to help ensure the success of the blood collection effort. Serves as a liaison between the customer and the appropriate staff. Provide oversight and record keeping in both Biomed Salesforce and online scheduling system (OLS) to ensure blood drives are properly managed and to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance. Handles customer inquiries and requests in a professional, courteous, helpful and timely manner. Prepares and maintains all account files including correspondence, operational records, and customer surveys to ensure accurate documentation of blood drive activity. Assists team in system data integrity. Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer telerecruiters within assigned groups to assist in meeting collection objectives and to comply with all relevant regulations, procedures and directives. Using approved templates and/or campaign materials, may localize blood drive collateral (posters, flyers, table tents, paycheck stuffers) to include location, date, time, goal, etc. Provides review and initiates applicable follow up for the Print Cost Model and exceptions process. Sends blood drive confirmations to blood drive coordinators/blood drive sponsors and ARC Chapters on an annual, semi-annual and/or quarterly basis. Sends thank you notes to customers to help ensure the prospect for future customer activity with ARCB Handles all inside sales support for assigned Recruitment District team. Includes management of the donor pre-sign up process, CRM Status Report review, and DRMS Condensed Report review with Reps for accuracy. May manage High School scholarship tracking and check requests. May manage inventory and distribution of donor premiums/giveaway items. Assists in orientation for new team members. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience. Minimum one-year related experience Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred. Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required. Excellent oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills is required. A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Ability to work on a team. May be required to travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization.
