Salary Range: $69,362 - $80,441

  

Essential Functions and Objectives:

 Leads distributive leadership systems and structures in the District. Defines the components of the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) and Teacher Leadership & Collaboration (TLC) distributive leadership model; ensures that the model supports the long-term goals of the organization; and drives decisions around policy, resource allocation, and strategy forward. Works across departments to collaborate and develop the capacity and institutional expertise needed to embed, sustain, and strengthen the implementation of distributive leadership systems and structures, from ILT & TLC planning to ILT strategic talent review and selection, ensuring distributive leadership is an integrated part of strategic school planning and a key driver of our academic and whole child goals.

- Owns distributive leadership systems management duties, including providing and interpreting policy, periodically reviewing and reporting on progress, trends and goals to ensure alignment with strategic vision.

- Partners to lead change management, cross-functional alignment, and execution of Strategic Talent Review initiatives across the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) to increase diversity of ILT members in schools.

- Leads implementation from the central team by driving the strategy for building the capacity and institutional knowledge necessary to sustain strong implementation of distributive leadership systems and structures.

- Influences and informs District leaders to make strategic adjustments to the Teacher Leadership & Collaboration (TLC) Financial Model in order to better drive towards organizational goals.

- Develops, reviews, and revises distributive leadership policies and procedures and develops and implements annual ILT and TLC school planning, selection, and implementation strategy.

- Owns key policy and strategic decisions to drive the team’s work towards team and District goals.

- Builds the capacity of leaders across the District to be distributive leadership experts, providing advice and counsel to department heads, managers and staff, in order to move the organization from pockets of excellence in distributive leadership to a system of excellence.

 Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

 - At least four (4) years of related experience.

- Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Google Suite, and Outlook.

- Effective time management and organizational skills.

- Effective communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines.

- The ability to take responsibility for one’s own performance.

- Work collaboratively with others on a team.

- Aptitude for variety and changing expectations and fast-paced environment.

 

Education Requirements:

 - Bachelor's degree required.
