Job Title: Human Resource Assistant/Payroll Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Human Resource Assistant/Payroll Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the HR and finance functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This is an opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our company by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and supporting HR activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Processing:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Calculate and process employee salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure timely disbursement of salaries and benefits.
Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records related to payroll, taxes, benefits, and personal information changes.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
HR Support:
  • Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, collecting necessary documents, and assisting with onboarding activities.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll matters.
Compliance:
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Ensure payroll processes align with legal requirements and company policies.
Reports and Analysis:
  • Generate regular reports related to payroll and HR metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and propose improvements to streamline processes.

 

 

  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with HR, finance department, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar HR support role.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Proficient in using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and payroll software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
  • Being reliable, responsible, and dependable
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
