Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Two years of experience in work involving public contact, at least one year of which is in the criminal justice system or a closely related field.
Equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade supplemented by additional specialized training in criminal justice, law enforcement, social science or a related field.
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
License or Certificate:
Possession of, or ability to obtain a motor vehicle operator's license.
Knowledge of: Interviewing and investigative methods and techniques; criminal justice system and community resources; pertinent laws, codes and regulations; human behavior and group dynamics; case management techniques; modern office equipment including computer systems and programs; office practices and procedures.
Ability to: Establish plans and agreements with clients; gather, evaluate and recommend action on program, client and agency information; operate office equipment such as computers; resolve complaints and calm angry clients; respond to and evaluate emotional needs of clients; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Provide program support to Probation Services Case Managers.

Job Summary
Provides customer service to internal or external department clients by performing a variety of moderately difficult to complex administrative support activities contributing to efficient office operations and using a thorough understanding of department and County programs and procedures. You must also be able and willing to respond to crisis situations, including physically intervening with youth who may be violently acting out; this may involve the use of restraints. All Juvenile Custody Services Specialists must have the ability to regularly go up and down stairs.
Some positions are assigned to work in a secure residential Behavioral Rehabilitation Services treatment program for youth of all genders who require a staff secured, out of home placement for assessment/evaluation, stabilization and transition planning.
The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including overnight, swing, weekends and holidays. As a Government Property Program Manager, you will:
Maintain Government approved business systems that are fully compliant with government, customer, and contractual requirements, as well as pertinent aerospace policies and procedures. Actively manage the Property Management system to the 10 Government Property Management Outcomes that are identified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1. Manage a team of 7+ individuals (some of whom may include property professionals responsible for US Government, Customer-owned property, and capital assets) across multiple customer sites. Execute the Property Management Lifecycle Model from Acquisition, Use and Disposition consisting of 10 functional outcomes at multiple customer sites. Utilize established asset management metrics to ensure operational wellness. Present and review Key Process Indicators (KPIs) with customers; develop and implement improvement plans using Root-Cause/Corrective-Action (RCCA) tools when KPIs or other performance measures don’t meet customer or internal expectations. Meet customer and internal financial budget targets such as revenue, growth, operating income, and past dues. Meet operational goals such as quality, delivery, Voice-Of-the-Customer (VOC), safety, and fill time. Demonstrate knowledge and use of business concepts associated with the project cost and budgetary planning/control which occur on a regular basis. Identify growth opportunities and develop those opportunities into revenue; including the creation of proposals, followed by implementation and proper execution after wins. What makes this role unique?
As our first point of contact, you will manage the front lobby area and our main Ecology phone line, responding to general inquiries from the public in both English and Spanish, government agencies and staff, both in person and over the phone so you will need to be able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of professionalism. You will engage with Ecology’s ten environmental programs and make determinations on directing inquiries. Process outgoing and incoming mail.

Communicate through electronic mail.
Access the calendar and schedule time.
Schedule conference rooms.
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with co-workers, agency staff, private sector and other government agencies. Maintain effective working relationships.
Participate in group processes and on teams.
Provide positive, accurate and pleasant customer service to external clients.
Take accurate messages and forward messages to the appropriate personnel.
Perform clerical support duties including but not limited to creating emails, typing letters, making copies, and scheduling meetings for the Region’s Business Administrator and other staff.
Research and produce copies of well logs for customers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
30 hours worked per week for 20 months: (30/40) x 20 months = 15 months full-time equivalent
20 hours worked per week for 12 months: (20/40) x 12 months = 6 months full-time equivalent
Experience for both required and desired qualifications can be gained through various combinations of formal professional employment, education, and volunteer experience. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to perform range of physical motions, exerting up to 50 pounds. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds; standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, kneeling, squatting, and stooping; running for brief periods of time; and go up and down stairs.
