The Associate Director is responsible for leading over 850 employees in eight national divisions that encompass 30 program areas: 1) Law Enforcement Security, and Emergency Services; 2) United States Park Police; 3) Office of Public Trust; 4) Fire and Aviation Management; 5) Risk Management; 6) Public Health Services; 7) Regulations, Jurisdiction, and Special Park Uses; and 8) Wilderness Stewardship. The Denver Service Center is the primary project execution office responsible for the planning, transportation, and major construction programs of the National Park Service.
