The Clinical Veterinarian is a full-time clinical position whose role in providing animal care and welfare supports the Aquarium’s mission to inspire people to explore, discover, and learn about Earth’s diverse ecosystems. Using modern zoological best practices, the clinical veterinarian coordinates with the Vice President of Zoological Operations to meet the living collection’s needs for preventative, emergency, and surgical care on a 24/7 basis. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
· Supports LLPA’s Veterinary Services Department and Zoological Operations Team through clinical case management utilizing best practices in medical, surgical, and diagnostic techniques.
· Provides routine and emergency veterinary medical care during regular work hours and shares on-call and weekend coverage responsibilities.
· Provides support for animal care, welfare, nutrition, and other aquarium initiatives.
· Supports diagnostic necropsy, sample collection, and interpretation of results.
· Maintains standards and regulations of AZA, AAZV, USDA, OSHA, and other local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and associations as they apply to zoological institutions and veterinary programs/facilities (i.e. animal care, transport, treatment, and the handling of controlled substances).
· Maintains animal medical records using ZIMS (electronic, cloud-based program) and communicates with staff regarding planned and provided care.
· Contributes to and participates in on-going training for veterinary and animal husbandry staff, as well as mentorship of veterinary and veterinary technician student externs.
· Participates in internal meetings to support clinical case review, animal transactions, animal welfare, and scientific research.
· Fosters good relations with visitors, volunteers, community leaders, contractors, and fellow staff by promoting positive attitudes, good will, cooperation, and providing high standards of service.
· Complies with all Loveland Living Planet Aquarium policies, procedures, and programs.
· Other duties as assigned.
Critical Skills/Competencies:
· Minimum of 2 years post-graduate zoological experience or specialty internship\residency training. ACZM board certification or eligibility preferred.
· Knowledge of the husbandry and veterinary needs of a wide range of mammalian, avian, reptilian, and aquatic species.
· Experience utilizing digital radiography, ultrasound, and rigid and flexible endoscopy for collection of minimally invasive diagnostic information.
· Experience with sedation and anesthesia of a wide range of species, including aquatic immersion and remote immobilization.
Qualifications:
· DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution.
· Must have or be able to obtain a valid state veterinary license and controlled substance certificate, DEA controlled substance registration certificate, and USDA Category II accreditation.
· Must have or be able to obtain a State of Utah driver’s license within 3 months of starting, and be eligible to drive company vehicles.
Physical Demands of the Job:
· This position requires periods of standing and walking as well as extended periods of sitting with technology systems and reporting. The role will primarily be within an attraction environment.
· Must be able to provide veterinary care and assessments in a variety of exhibit and non-exhibit settings. This may include wading, walking on wet floors, and outdoor work under variety of conditions: cold weather, hot weather, high humidity, rain, mud.
· Considerable physical exertion, such as walking, bending, stooping and climbing of ladders may be required.
· Lifting of heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a frequent basis.
· Hours and availability: This is a salaried position calculated at 40 hours per week; Position will share in providing on-call support for after-hours emergencies, weekends, and holiday coverage.

The Housing Development Coordinator is responsible for leading housing development efforts to address homelessness, create new housing, and preserve existing residential resources for persons with serious mental illness and addiction disorders. Position scope includes (1) the coordination and ongoing oversight of HSD housing development initiatives for people with mental health and addiction disorders; (2) serving as program contact for housing development awards; (3) representing HSD and providing leadership on behalf of the department on supportive and affordable housing for OHA clients.

The District Engineer is assigned to the Division of Support Services, Operations Engineering Staff within the Roseburg District. The Cloud Solution Architect provides expert consultation to management and professional IS staff. Possess a working knowledge of operating systems, electronic system communication methods, line supervision, cable types, multiplexing, networking, and computer peripherals. Provides recommendations concerning the Board’s Electronic Security System (ESS) and assists with ensuring those critical systems remain operational. Assists with application system administration and maintenance of the ESS, which includes but is not limited to the implementation, troubleshooting, data management, testing, training, configuration, networking of various devices, and remote contingency operations centers. Researches and evaluates new technologies and existing system capabilities, then makes recommendations on alternate means of implementation/use in order to maximize the effectiveness of the ESS and/or physical security program. 2. Assist with implementing, administering and/or maintaining software systems and applications to meet the physical security needs of the Board by utilizing knowledge of operating systems software, data management tools, and/or other software management tools as necessary. This may involve the use of integrated systems testing and/or the use of communications software to combine elements from multiple computing platforms. 3. Supports compliance initiatives of all equipment, policies, and/or personnel with legislative guidelines such as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Interagency Security Committee (ISC), Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Board Information Security Program (BISP) procedures, and/or other guidelines as required. 4. Conducts research and provide guidance on all facets of the Board’s physical security program, which includes but is not limited to infrastructure requirements, planning and program development, equipment life cycle replacement, contract administration, and/or development of budgetary resource requirements. Additionally, identifies problems; recommends actions; and identifies/resolves potential security issues. 5. Participates in the development of requirements, Statements of Work, and/or reviews proposals, construction drawings, specifications, and related material(s) to ensure appropriate security requirements, contract requirements, and/or compliance objectives are met. 6. Participates in conducting physical security program evaluations and assist with the development of physical, industrial, and/or procedural security policies, procedures, and directives. 7. Serves as a “Security Officer”, “USACCESS Agency Lead” and “Sponsor” as defined by HSPD-12, in order to maintain compliance with legislative mandates and the Board’s PIV program. Ensures program effectiveness and efficiency by participating in developing policies and procedures for the Board’s PIV program. 8. Conducts investigations of alleged security violations, determine facts and circumstances of the incidents, and/or recommend changes in procedures that led to the violations. 9. Facilitates and/or participates in conducting vulnerability assessments and/or assessing the Facility Security Level (FSL) to ensure compliance with ISC, the Board’s, Federal Reserve System, and/or Executive Branch security regulations. 10. Assists in performing data alignments between various platforms such as Physical Access Control System (PACS), General Services Administration (GSA), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Active Directory (AD). 11. Participates in the Board, Bureau, and/or Division at conferences and meetings with other government agencies, private sector organizations, and/or the Federal Reserve System on physical security matters. Building and launching emails and SMS in Salesforce Marketing Cloud as needed
Overseeing design and imagery, including selecting powerful, response-driving photos from our media database
Assisting in the design and development of donation forms, landing pages and surveys
Configuring and generating email, SMS and donation form reporting and finding trends in email reports to help inform future decisions and optimize performance
Provide training for members of other MSF teams in email creation
Advising on configuration of CRM and liaising with the Systems Team and vendors
Qualifications
You’re a data-driven digital marketer with an eye for captivating storytelling and persuasive messaging and design. You are a creative problem solver with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to manage competing calendars and priorities . You are comfortable making recommendations and implementing strategies for copy, design, and process improvement.
Relevant experience in digital marketing and fundraising, especially in email and mobile. Agency experience a plus but not required.
