ABOUT CASA DE LOS AMIGOS: This program has 2 locations and 20 beds, serving clients ages 12-17, who have been placed in the program by the Office of Refugee Resettlement Department of Unaccompanied Children's Services (ORR / DUCS). The goal of the program is safe and timely reunification with family in the U.S.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Case Management Supervisor, the Bilingual Case Manager is responsible for the day-to-day case management and family reunification services for youth placed in the Casa Program under the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and in accordance with all ORR policies and procedures. Duties include all intake and exit paperwork, case planning, crisis intervention, transportation, providing or obtaining translation services, ensuring clients meet all immigration related court appointments and requirements, and assisting in the safe and timely release of each client. The Outreach Specialist’s focus is on engaging survivors of IPSV. Current populations HRM is focused on reaching include the Spanish speaking and Latinx immigrant communities; Urdu speaking South Asian community; Muslim communities; and LGBTQ communities. Community education efforts are aimed at helping family, friends and organizations recognize and refer limited English and immigrant survivors to HRM. All participants served in Bilingual Outreach are victims of IPSV, and have also often experiencing violence during the immigration process, violence in their home country, and community based violence that includes discrimination and hate crimes. Community education efforts are aimed at helping family, friends and organizations recognize and refer limited English and immigrant survivors to HRM. All participants served in Bilingual Outreach are victims of IPSV, and have also often experiencing violence during the immigration process, violence in their home country, and community based violence that includes discrimination and hate crimes. Participants have experienced complex traumatic events that shape how they interact with the people around them. The Outreach Specialist must have a firm understanding of trauma, the effects of trauma, engaging traumatized people, and must be comfortable working in a Voluntary Services program model. To meet the needs of the client population, this position must be fluent in English and Spanish, or English and Urdu.
Standard Schedule: Standard hours for this position are Monday- Friday, starting between 8:00am-10:00am and finishing between 4:00pm-6:00pm with flexibility up to 30% of the time to attend to critical work activities occurring in the evening or weekend (resource fairs and events, presentation, meeting with participants with schedule conflicts, etc.). This position is based on site at HRM’s HIghlandtown office. Local travel around the Baltimore Metropolitan area encompasses up to 50% of the position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides crisis intervention, safety planning, rights education, systems navigation, empathy and culturally informed support to persons experiencing intimate partner and sexual violence.
As part of the Victim Coordinate Entry (VCE) team, completes intakes for homeless survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence.
Assists clients in gathering/obtaining documentation necessary to quickly and efficiently process assistance requests.
Guides and supports participants to increase self-sufficiency skills, safety, education on domestic violence, and problem solving. Educates participants on self-advocacy skills and advocates on behalf of participants when necessary to achieve participant goals.
Carries out the Community Engagement strategy, reaching out to communities where underserved populations live and work, providing information on IPSV, services available, and systems navigation.
Identifies and reaches out to agencies and organizations that interact with HRM’s underserved populations. Notifies agencies of programming and services available to survivors facilitates partnerships to serve victims and survivors better.
Distributes and inventories food pantry commodities to participants in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Provides direction and support for volunteers working in the food pantry or at outreach events.
Maintains detailed tracking records for assistance distributed, including timely data entry related to each contact in keeping with program standards.
Provides safety assessment and services to persons seeking crisis assistance in person at the Highlandtown site.
Travels to provide in person triage services for walk in victims at HRM sites, and at safe partner locations in the City.
Visits participants in home environments that have been determined to be safe.
Participates in HRM Service Coordination Team, Community Engagement, and Highlandtown Site meetings. Attends external collaborative meetings on a rotating basis.
Conducts on-site Platicas Informativas groups for participants in the program.
Makes recommendations concerning individual participant’s eligibility for financial assistance and expected termination date from the program.
Provide relief and back-up coverage for the Victim Coordinated Entry and Lethality Assessment Program teams when language services are needed.
Spanish speaking staff members share coverage and triage services at HRM’s Highlandtown office to ensure victim access for Spanish speaking victims and survivors.
Experience/ Requirements:
Two years of paid or volunteer experience providing outreach, training, or victim centered advocacy. Associate degree in Human Services field may substitute for one year experience.
Demonstrated understanding of how trauma impacts vulnerable population through direct service provision with that population.
Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish, or English and Urdu.
Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills with a strong ability to relate to a diverse range of individuals including victims, children, donors, business leaders, human service providers, and donors.

Our team is seeking a Bilingual Case Manager to work with us in Las Vegas, Nevada who is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Case Managers are one of Mindoula’s key front-line roles in delivering our Population Health Program. Our Case Managers work closely with Mindoula’s members in the community to understand their behavioral and medical health conditions, as well as their social determinants of health needs, and help our members achieve better health outcomes.
How you’ll contribute:
Conduct meaningful outreach, provide education, and drive member enrollment
In partnership with the member, create a Service Plan to guide engagement based on member diagnoses, results of screenings, as well as care gaps
Build measurable goals for members to develop skills and/or strategies for managing challenges and triggers to reduce hospital admissions/readmissions and use of the ER, and record outcomes
Coordinate community resources for each member to support them in achieving their goals as outlined in their Service Plans, created with an emphasis on meeting behavioral health and medical needs, and closing gaps identified in the social determinants of health
Act as an advocate and liaison between the care team (family, physician, facilities, and/or agencies) and member
Schedule appointments, build accountability, and follow-up services for members
Elevate critical incidents and information regarding any quality-of-care concerns
Report hospital diversions, productivity, and other outcomes weekly
Prepare and maintain all required records, reports, consents, and members’ diagnostic records

Responsibilities
The Museum Education and Training Specialist directs the museum’s tour guide program including design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This position also serves as the museum’s point of contact for accessibility initiatives.
Typical responsibilities include:
Lead in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of The Ringling guide training program through an equity lens. Develops inclusive interpretive strategies and training materials, and provides instruction in collections content and inclusive tour techniques. Develops continuing education opportunities for guides in support of IDEA efforts.
Conducts regular evaluations of individual guides on both content and presentation skills to maintain consistent quality within the guide program. Offers coaching and mentoring when needed.
In partnership with the Guide Program Associate and Volunteer Services department, assists with determining the guide program recruitment needs. Identifies ways to recruit and welcome a diverse group of candidates.
Serves as the Accessibility point of contact for visitor groups. Coordinates the Accessibility Working Group and Community Accessibility Working Group to identify ways to improve accessibility at The Ringling. Researches, implements, and develops guidelines for new products and services to support museum access. Makes purchase recommendations to the IDEA & Access budget manager on new products and services. Leads museum access programs and conducts accessibility training for museum guides as needed.
Collaborates with education team members to provide training and support for related guides and volunteer programs such as School Tour guides and Youth and Family volunteers.
Collaborates with HR to support training initiatives for museum-wide staff and volunteers to facilitate connections to the Museum's mission and collections, to encourage camaraderie, and to provide opportunities for staff and volunteers to enhance the visitor experience.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years' relevant experience or a combination of post high school education and relevant experience equal to six years. Note: Higher education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking based upon in-depth data and substantiating information, considering and respecting others' input, personal values, and ethics.
Ability to effectively train and direct the work of others.
Ability to understand and interpret educational needs and to develop effective instructional media solutions.

Position: Full Time Bilingual Housing Resource Specialist
Location: Passaic County
The Housing Resource Specialist (HRS) is responsible for conducting intake interviews, verifying consumer eligibility, assisting consumer needs; coordinating rental assistance process; identifying resources; and providing information and referral to other community resources to help meet consumer needs for individuals and families identified as homeless or at risk of homelessness. Provides direct services to a caseload of up to 25. The HRS is also responsible for case management; record keeping; documentation; data entry and data processing in the EmpoweOR and Homelessness Management information system (HMIS) and other computer databases as required.
Responsibilities:
Conduct intakes and direct interviews with individuals and families to determine their eligibility for homelessness prevention services. Responsible for evaluating and verifying families' applications for direct funds, verifying eligibility based on specific instruments, HUS requirements and the families' budget and resources.
Obtain completed and signed Consent/Authorization and HMIS intake forms from each consumer
Provide virtual and in-home case management services to meet the family's goals on the Service plan. These goals may include but not limited to: housing location, landlord readiness, identification of formal and informal supports, parenting skills, and structuring daily routines. Exhibits knowledge of client's psychosocial and medical needs as appropriate. Assist each family in improving their housing stability through the agreed upon Service plan that could include: credit repair, NJ tenant's rights and responsibilities, prevention of lease violations, and financial literacy. Identify a plan to set tenant up for success with following terms of their lease, maintaining their home, and fulfilling their financial commitments.
Develop and maintain working relationships with private and public services agencies in the community to ensure that consumers received all available community resources.
Provide linkage to community resources which can include but not limited to: emergency services, housing, child care, educational and vocational needs or services, food stamps, cash assistance, WIC, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability,health care treatment, and Division of Developmental Disabilities. Connect families and youth to Family Success Centers, sports and recreational activities, creative arts and educational programs.
Facilitates transportation solutions for appointments, meetings, and activities which are part of their Service Plan. Plans efficient transportation routes for individuals to any appropriate services.
Serve as an advocate and maintain regular communication with landlords and other agencies while the consumer case is being processed to help prevent evictions when possible. Models advocacy techniques for consumers.
Review rental and utility arrangements including Summons or Warrant of Removal and obtain the landlords ledger to determine the exact amount of the participants indebtedness, and ensure all monies needed to cover the rent are accounted for.
Request and manage client assistance funding from community partners and Department of Community Client-specific funding for wraparound services.
Prepare a file folder with each consumer's records and documentation, as well as all required project forms, in an orderly manner according tot he project file checklist.
Consult with the director on all new cases and/or dispositions on current ones, and emergency needs.
