YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As Global Corporate Relations Lead, you will be part of a small, high-impact team that specializes in advancing the welfare of animals raised for food through outreach to major international food companies. Currently, the team’s work is focused on influencing companies to transition to 100% cage-free systems for egg-laying hens in their supply chains across the world. You will be accountable for engaging in dialogue and maintaining relationships with food companies, with a focus on companies headquartered in North America and Latin America. This work requires a high level of confidence and relentlessness, as well as excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills. This position also involves close collaboration with other animal protection groups through the Open Wing Alliance (OWA), a global coalition of 90+ animal protection organizations, to organize meetings and strategize. The ideal candidate will excel in cultural competency and be excited about building relationships. This position reports directly to the Senior Associate Director of Global Corporate Relations.
This is a full-time, remote position. This position involves domestic and international travel, equivalent to up to 1-2 weeks per month, and requires a valid, up-to-date passport. The travel requirements of this role include attendance at the Open Wing Alliance Latin America Summit from September 3-5, 2024 in Mexico City.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with major multinational food companies to advance welfare for animals within their supply chains. Currently, this work is focused on holding companies accountable for fulfilling their cage-free egg commitments.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate executives at food companies. This includes email communication as well as virtual and in-person meetings.
Engage in high-pressure negotiations with executives, with the primary purpose of influencing food companies to commit to animal welfare policies. Act as the lead on negotiations for OWA global campaigns.
Conduct research on global food companies and maintain data within the team’s CRM, Salesforce.
Hold food companies accountable for meeting their commitment deadlines. Establish check-ins with companies, ensuring they disclose progress on their commitments.
Collaborate with team members intra- and inter-departmentally on campaign targets, strategy, research, commitments, and actions.
Collaborate closely with OWA member groups and other relevant organizations on corporate outreach and campaign targets.
Work closely with other members of THL’s Global Corporate Engagement team to advise on corporate relations strategy and goals.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this role is $67,130 - $82,048 USD. At The Humane League, we believe in maintaining a fair and equitable work environment for all employees. Job Purpose
The Assistant Director recruits, evaluates, and counsels prospective and admitted prospective students. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required and at least 2 years of admissions experience. Priority given to applicants with previous supervisory experience (student or professional) and/or recruitment experience specific to northern New Jersey, the greater New York City Metropolitan area including Long Island, or Connecticut. An understanding of admissions procedures and the college selection process and an ability to work with diverse student populations is necessary. Ability to travel for extended periods of time. Strong planning, organizing, technology, and oral and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work cooperatively with other staff members and the college community. As a regional position, this Assistant Director must be a self-starter, able to work independently from remote home/office location while also functioning as part of the larger Charleston Admissions team. This position will work 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and some weekends and evenings will be required during times of business need. Travel will also be involved up to 25% of the time. CDL candidates preferred (not required) WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): Provide customer service for Regional Fleet Management. Assist with the management of fleet operation for the Region. Manage the Regional Fleet Programs for motor vehicle registrations, operational and organizational maintenance, vehicle emergency safety equipment, issue, use, and inventory. Accountable for ARC gasoline and minor maintenance cards, enforcement of authorized use of ARC vehicle, vehicle sales, accident, recovery and claims, and formulation and compliance of fleet budgets. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations. This position will work 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and some weekends and evenings will be required during times of business need. Travel will also be involved up to 25% of the time. CDL candidates preferred (not required) WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): Provide customer service for Regional Fleet Management. Assist with the management of fleet operation for the Region. Manage the Regional Fleet Programs for motor vehicle registrations, operational and organizational maintenance, vehicle emergency safety equipment, issue, use, and inventory. Accountable for ARC gasoline and minor maintenance cards, enforcement of authorized use of ARC vehicle, vehicle sales, accident, recovery and claims, and formulation and compliance of fleet budgets. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities): 1: Supervise the daily maintenance and repair of Regional Fleet Maintenance Program to include programs for motor vehicle registrations, operational and organizational maintenance, the issue, use and inventory of vehicle emergency safety equipment, gasoline and minor maintenance cards, vehicle sales, and accident, recovery and claims. 2: Assist as required with emergency situations that involve vehicle breakdowns and repairs of fleet assets. On call 24/7 for emergency purposes. 3: Maintain DOT vehicle maintenance and required inspections in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and ARC directives. Assign vehicles to the Regional staff for official business trips. Assist with the scheduling of vehicle maintenance and ensure accuracy of vehicle assignment, dates and times. Coordinate fleet repairs with Regional Departments and Districts and that work is done in a timely manner. Renew vehicle insurance cards and ensure that vehicles requiring County emission tests are completed on time. Ensure that all vehicle decals and licensing remain current. 4: Assist as warranted in covering blood drives during emergency situations. Ensure that Mobile Unit vehicle assignments are adequate for blood drive coverage relative to out of service units. 5: Ensure the accuracy of the fleet database. 6: May assist with the periodic movement of vehicles within the region. 7: Assist Manager in the formulation of the Transportation Department Budget. ---------------------- Scope: Extensive knowledge of the job. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD: Confirms all information regarding blood drives with blood drive coordinators/blood drive sponsors and communicates details (refreshment requests, hold dates, hours of operation, staffing, directions, volunteer needs, collateral materials needed, special equipment, and cancellations) to production planning staff to help ensure the success of the blood collection effort. Serves as a liaison between the customer and the appropriate staff. Provide oversight and record keeping in both Biomed Salesforce and online scheduling system (OLS) to ensure blood drives are properly managed and to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance. Handles customer inquiries and requests in a professional, courteous, helpful and timely manner. Prepares and maintains all account files including correspondence, operational records, and customer surveys to ensure accurate documentation of blood drive activity. Assists team in system data integrity. Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer telerecruiters within assigned groups to assist in meeting collection objectives and to comply with all relevant regulations, procedures and directives. Using approved templates and/or campaign materials, may localize blood drive collateral (posters, flyers, table tents, paycheck stuffers) to include location, date, time, goal, etc. Provides review and initiates applicable follow up for the Print Cost Model and exceptions process. Sends blood drive confirmations to blood drive coordinators/blood drive sponsors and ARC Chapters on an annual, semi-annual and/or quarterly basis. Sends thank you notes to customers to help ensure the prospect for future customer activity with ARCB Handles all inside sales support for assigned Recruitment District team. Includes management of the donor pre-sign up process, CRM Status Report review, and DRMS Condensed Report review with Reps for accuracy. May manage High School scholarship tracking and check requests. May manage inventory and distribution of donor premiums/giveaway items. Assists in orientation for new team members. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: High School Diploma/Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications, or related field; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience required. Minimum one-year related experience Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred. Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required. Excellent oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills is required. A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
