The Redistricting Data Hub is an essential source of high quality redistricting data and support for working with the data. As a data analyst at RDH, you will become familiar with the nuances of working with geospatial data, election results, and other key datasets. The datasets you produce will be used by RDH stakeholders and many will be incorporated directly into Dave's Redistricting App.

Prior political or redistricting experience is neither expected nor necessary. The position will include training to give you necessary background on redistricting. The list of key skills attempts to communicate all the skills we are interested in, and approximates order of importance. The nonpartisan Redistricting Data Hub provides individuals, good government organizations, and community groups the data, resources, and knowledge to participate effectively in the redistricting process. In service of this mission, we host over 17,000 datasets in all 50 states, from the census block to the district level, and continue to add new data that is useful for nonpartisan map drawing and analysis. This data is free to the public, and accompanied by technical support and nonpartisan analysis on request.
