The Redistricting Data Hub (RDH) provides individuals, civil rights groups, and good government organizations the data, tools, and knowledge to participate effectively in the redistricting process. In service of this mission, we host thousands of datasets in all 50 states, from the census block to the district level, and continue to add new data that is useful for nonpartisan map drawing and analysis. This data is free to the public, and accompanied by technical support and nonpartisan analysis on request.
The Data Collection Fellowship provides the opportunity to do a deep dive into redistricting and contribute to our data collection, validation, and processing efforts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Applicants of all political leanings are welcome to apply, but will be expected to comport themselves in a strictly professional and nonpartisan manner while performing Redistricting Data Hub responsibilities. Prior political or redistricting experience is neither expected nor necessary. The position will include training to give you necessary background on redistricting. The list of key skills attempts to communicate all the skills we are interested in, and approximates order of importance.
