Essential Functions Conducts thorough and comprehensive medical studies of recipients including mental and physical examinations, orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic procedures, conducts general medicine clinics for recipients and prescribes medications and medical treatments as a practicing family care practitioner. As a practicing family care practitioner, coordinates and directs medical intervention personally and through others, the medical treatment program for all patients. Conducts physical examinations of employees with work related injuries or physical, medical complaints of an emergency nature and provides medical consultation, care, treatment, and appropriate referral as directed by facility and departmental policy.
