Position Overview
The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire a Physician Specialist Option D for the Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center (JITC) located in Joliet, Illinois to serve as a medical specialist in psychiatry in providing services to mentally ill patients. Job Responsibilities

Two (2) years of professional experience identifying most appropriate positive treatment regime and carrying out that treatment in accordance with best practices.

These inspections ensure processes protect the public health and prevent injury. • Complaint and Foodborne Illness Outbreak Investigation - an EHS will investigate complaints by performing records searches, site visits, interviews of complainants and gathering other pertinent information. • Enforcement of Regulation - an EHS will, when necessary, initiate enforcement when regulations are not met. The goal is to ensure compliance with public health rules. In many instances, the EHS will partner with other agencies that can improve the process or offer resources to the one with whom enforcement is being pursued. • Technical Assistance - the EHS will offer technical expertise to property owners, business owners, food workers, entrepreneurs, county departments and other stakeholders. This task can include significant research and communication. The position may be asked to work in other EPH programs as needed. Qualifications
Job Function
Resolves complaints concerning food borne illnesses by interviewing affected individuals, obtaining clinical specimens, collecting food samples, interviewing employees, tracing possible sources of contamination, consulting with state epidemiologist, evaluating findings and writing reports.
Conducts compliance inspections of schools, restaurants, grocery stores, taverns, bakeries, meat markets, weekend events, and other retail food establishments according to assigned schedule.
Records violations found during inspections, evaluate findings, discuss with owner or manager, and establish short and long-term corrective actions.
Makes follow-up evaluations and initiates enforcement procedures, if necessary.
Provides information on building requirements for new and remodeled food establishments and answers questions from the public regarding public health requirements for food service establishments.
Reviews submitted plans for food establishments and conducts pre-opening inspections to see that requirements are met.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): Support all aspects of the SBB (Specialist in Blood Banking) program, a graduate level program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Fulfill the CAAHEP program role of educational coordinator. Provide routine to complex reference testing evaluation for the Immunohematology Reference Laboratories (IRL). Lecture and provide leadership guidance for graduate level SBB student trainees. Coordinate lectures and committee planning schedules and develop examination tests. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. Coordinate faculty lectures and committee planning meeting schedule. Implement approved policy changes to lecture outlines, curriculum and impacted systems, procedures, and protocol standards. Manage the program’s student admission, interview, and selection process. Develop reference examination tests to evaluate students’ understanding of transfusion medicine theory. Perform review of serologic investigations ranging in complexity from basic to complex, antigen typing and compatibility testing. Review and approve quality control of equipment and reagents. Consult with laboratory staff to assure quality and adequacy of testing. Identify relevant project assignments for students. Monitor student performance, provide counseling, and develop improvement plan opportunities. Participate in test result entry into laboratory computer system, labeling and verification of blood products. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Clinic Director II/GCHC, the Call Center Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the call center and supervision of the call center agents. Their duties include hiring and training Call Center Specialists, establishing goals for call center staff to follow and resolving any customer issues or other call center problems that occur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hire, onboard, and train call center personnel.
Plan, organize, implement, and monitor call center operations, including but not limited to, the following areas:
Customer service

Communication with patients/clients, external agencies (e.g. MedPOINT, HCLA IPA, Regal IPA, etc.), and/or staff.
Coach call center staff through challenging customer service issues.

Lead team meetings and give presentations to clinic management.
Analyze, establish, implement, and monitor operational goals using statistical data to determine workload, productivity, and effectiveness of team.
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual call center goals and action plans.
Prepare work schedule to ensure efficient coverage.
Exhibit cultural competency with the LGBTQ+ population, underrepresented and underserved communities, and populations living with/at high risk of contracting HIV.
Create personnel and supply budgets for approval.
Work with the referral coordinator and/or referring agencies to coordinate patient appointments.
Work with the patient engagement and retention specialist and/or patient ambassador to coordinate ED/ER follow up patient appointments.
Coordinate auxiliary services to assist patients with barriers to access to healthcare (e.g. interpreter services, transportation).

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:

Plan, organize, implement, and monitor call center operations, including but not limited to, the following areas:
Customer service
Appointment Scheduling
Communication with patients/clients, external agencies (e.g. MedPOINT, HCLA IPA, Regal IPA, etc.), and/or staff.
Coach call center staff through challenging customer service issues.
Manage staff by assigning and delegating tasks as needed.
Monitor, coach, and appropriately discipline under-performing staff
Oversee staffing including attendance, tardiness and time off requests and review accuracy and ensure that all direct reports are recording time worked accurately in the PayCom system.
Provide phone coverage due to staff shortages as a result of call outs, vacations, etc.
Analyze call center data and prepare reports for clinic/upper management.
Evaluate staff effectiveness and perform regular check-ins and performance evaluations with direct reports annually and on an as-needed basis.
Lead team meetings and give presentations to clinic management.
Analyze, establish, implement, and monitor operational goals using statistical data to determine workload, productivity, and effectiveness of team.
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual call center goals and action plans.
Prepare work schedule to ensure efficient coverage.

Create personnel and supply budgets for approval.
Work with the referral coordinator and/or referring agencies to coordinate patient appointments.

Coordinate auxiliary services to assist patients with barriers to access to healthcare (e.g. interpreter services, transportation).
Submit and follow-up on maintenance requests with the Facilities department to maintain working condition of equipment, cleanliness, and orderliness of the Call Center.
Ensure privacy protocols and regulations (e.g. HIPAA) are followed in order to keep data safe and secure.
Assist with emergency management and preparedness plans and tasks.
Assist patients with understanding the limitations of certain services and assist them in finding a solution to their concerns.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems has an immediate opportunity for an experienced case manager/life skills specialist or a recent graduate with a background in social work and/or mental health care, for a rewarding career as a Youth Life Skills Specialist . This position will join our treatment team in Montgomery County , providing therapy and coordinating treatment with their clinical team at schools in the Crawfordsville, Indiana area.

Duties Include :
Provide children with face-to-face contact for the purpose of coaching, teaching, or using motivational interviewing to assist the consumer in meeting Person-Centered Treatment Plan goals.
Communicate and collaborate with school administration, counselors, and teachers on a consistent and timely basis via telephone, email, and face-to-face to address the needs and progress of consumers and their families.
Schedule work hours in accordance with the needs of the specific school satellite location; this may include early morning hours and after school hours in the homes of the consumers.
Education and experience :
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or a related degree in human service field is required or
Associate's degree in human services or related field and (2) years previous direct care experience in social services, behavioral health, school-based, etc.; or
High school graduate or GED and four (4) years previous direct care experience in social services, behavioral health, school-based, etc; or
Two years' of post-bachelors work experience in mental health is preferred.
Should be creative, passionate, fun, and able to engage persons with diverse backgrounds.
