The Clark County Geographic Information Services (GIS) division has a current opening for a GIS Technician. The position may be filled at the GIS Technician II or GIS Technician III level, depending on the qualifications and experience level of the candidate selected. The GIS Technician is responsible for the production and maintenance of Clark County’s GIS data, map products, and web mapping applications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for responding to internal and external customer inquiries for GIS products, services, or technical support. Technical proficiency, creativity, productivity, and strong collaboration and task management skills are key traits for success in this role. This position reports directly to the GIS Manager. The GIS Technician will work alongside other GIS staff to plan and carry out work independently. James City County’s General Services Department is hiring a Spray Technician to perform responsible work in the area of pesticide maintenance for County parks and other grounds and planted areas throughout James City County. Signing bonus of $2000 is offered to eligible candidates.
Responsibilities:
Oversees work of team members during operations including accountability for job completion, materials selection, coordination of logistics, and overall welfare and performance of assigned personnel.
Maintains records of assigned work including work performed, pesticide usage, equipment repair and maintenance, and maintains an inventory of necessary pesticides and fertilizers.
Prepares and maintains a variety of logs and reports; assists in ordering supplies and tracking inventory.
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as needed; may review new equipment, chemicals, etc.

What you will do!
The primary purpose of the Senior Business Analyst is:
To manage the process for new information systems and modifications to existing systems to ensure business needs are met, primarily OSH’s Electronic Health Record system (EHR), Avatar. Avatar is the primary medical records database for the Oregon State Hospital, utilized by 2400 staff to; directly evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric patients in their recovery. Staff includes doctors, nurses, mental health technicians, and pharmacists and the stored data is used to make statewide decisions on policy, process, and patient care.
To implement process reengineering to ensure work processes and business requirements are in alignment, including consulting to hospital leadership for strategic projects and leading other Business Analyst in implementing technology solutions.

What you will do!
The primary purpose of the Senior Business Analyst is:
To manage the process for new information systems and modifications to existing systems to ensure business needs are met, primarily OSH’s Electronic Health Record system (EHR), Avatar. Avatar is the primary medical records database for the Oregon State Hospital, utilized by 2400 staff to; directly evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric patients in their recovery. Staff includes doctors, nurses, mental health technicians, and pharmacists and the stored data is used to make statewide decisions on policy, process, and patient care.
To implement process reengineering to ensure work processes and business requirements are in alignment, including consulting to hospital leadership for strategic projects and leading other Business Analyst in implementing technology solutions.
To direct the preparation and execution plans to align technology, business requirements, and business processes, including technology configuration, documentation, and training as assigned.
To perform software configuration according to these requirements, processes, and plans, and to establish and communicate standards so that other Business Analysts working on the same software, and/or with the same units within OSH, are providing documents, processes, plans, and functions consistent with each other.
