Job Summary
Real Property Services is a critical department within Public Works that obtains the right of way for capital road projects and oversees property management disposal of county property. In addition, Real Property Services supports the acquisition and land management of Parks, Legacy Lands and Clean Water.
The Office Assistant III primary functions are to support every staff member in all aspects of the land acquisition process – proof, print, scan and mail certified letters. This position’s duties include oversight of over 12 county consultant contracts with budget of $1.9M through coordination, monitoring and budgetary management coordinate contract works, scheduling maintenance for county owned property.

This position will work at the Public Service Center complex in downtown Vancouver and will help support all of the Public Works divisions which include Administration and Finance, Clean Water, Engineering and Construction, Parks and Lands, Road Maintenance and Safety, and Transportation and Development.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
(3) Three to (5) five years of responsible and advanced administrative support experience including the full range of office and support functions; telephone and reception, word processing, spreadsheet and other personal computer applications, filing systems, mail, supplies, budgeting, accounting and others.

Salary Grade: Local 307.505 ($19.45 - $24.84) per hour
