TED is currently in search of an HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. This a temp to perm position.

POSITION OVERVIEW

HR Generalist will be responsible for a broad range of areas supporting the employee lifecycle. The role will support HRIS management, management of TED’s 3rd party workforce agency, Compensation, Payroll and other needs in support of TED staff.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist
  • Required proficiency in ADP Workforce Now 
  • Required experience with 3rd party workforce agencies, Target CW a plus
  • Working knowledge of EEO Job Categories for Federal Contractors
  • Working knowledge of FLSA Exemptions
  • Proficiency in Google Drive Applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Rigorous data management within HRIS and compensation systems
  • Experience benchmarking jobs through use of market data compensation platforms such as Payscale Insight, a plus
  • Trustworthy, capable of maintaining confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of role
  • Willingness to learn US and Canadian (BC) law + benefits in support of TED staff

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Onboarding 
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires in Vancouver
  • Offboarding 
    • Facilitate the offboarding process for departing employees in Vancouver
  • HRIS Management - ADP Workforce Now
  • Data management responsible for updating employee personnel e-files in ADP, running reports and tracking data in support of OMG’s, Do Tanks, etc. in collaboration with Senior HR Generalist 
  • Regularly audit ADP Workforce Now to monitor non-exempt staff timesheet submissions with manager approvals + staff PTO inquiries
  • Personnel Flow Tracking
    • Responsible for rigorous data management and Personnel Flow Tracking as part of TED’s AAP 
  • Target CW 3rd party workforce agency management
    • Manage, track, onboard and offboard Target CW workers worldwide
  • Market Compensation Analysis - Payscale Insight
    • Act as main point of contact for accurate, rigorous data updates within Payscale Insight for all TED employees to include new hires, departing employees, and employee changes throughout the employee lifecycle
    • Administer routine Payscale compensation analyses and benchmarking for Hiring Managers for all new hire roles and promotions working collaboratively with HR team
  • Payroll support
    • Payroll support in collaboration with Senior HR Generalist
    • Updates for Transit and 401k elections in ADP
    • Management of the Employee Change Form process reviewing change fields for accuracy, routing for signature via Docusign to Head of HR and CFO, distribution to employees and document updates into ADP personnel e-files
    • Oversee TED’s Professional Development Stipend process
  • General
    • Maintain and promote culture by supporting HR initiatives and cultural events produced by Culture + Employee Experience Manager and Administrative Team Coordinator
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned
    • Willingness to contribute however possible to ensure overall effectiveness of role
