Technical Marketing Engineer

As a TME, you will the technical expert of the Aruba UXI solution and possess knowledge across a range of Aruba product and functional areas, including but not limited to 802.11ax, 802.11e/QoS, emerging standards such as 802.11ac, 802.1n, WLAN security including firewalls and Wireless Intrusion Prevention System, WLAN Access Points and Cloud controllers, Aruba switches, Aruba Instant, as well as Network services focused on Enterprise solutions and deployments. Using this skill set, you will be responsible to spend 25% of her time analyzing the UXI solution to become a SME. You will be expected to spend 40% of the time in testing and validating the solution that includes setting up of different test beds, planning and executing testing on WLAN, LAN, TCP/IP, security and 802.11 related areas. As part of the testing process, you will be expected to debug wireless networks that need knowledge of network infrastructure products like controllers and access points and a good understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts along with troubleshooting of wired and wireless network topologies, and related protocols like RADIUS, 802.1X, DNS and packet tracing/sniffing on 802.3 and 802.11 networks. As part of this role, you will be expected to spend 20% of her time in generating technical collateral which includes reviewing and producing technical application notes, configuration, and design guides, and assist in technical curriculum and training development when required. You will also be responsible for review and development of white papers, technical briefs, and implementation documents for publication on the web and printed media. You will also be expected to participate in and support technical forums, industry events, customer demons and other speaking events and industry shows.

Key TME Responsibilities:

• You will be expected to be the product expert/SME for UXI in order to enable and train the field, SEs, CSEs and partners
• You will be expected to lead setup and management of training labs and demo environments
• You will be expected to lead SE NHO, SE UTH and other events (ATM, TSS, Aspire sessions/presentations) and CEC demos
• You will support customer demos, Q&A
• You will do competitive analysis of similar products in the market
• You will support PLM activities, documentation and training material. Publish internal technical collateral such as videos and Arubapedia docs.
• You will be involved in cross functional collaboration between product, marketing, engineering teams
