Mitigation Cyber Analyst (#1911902)

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Mitigation Cyber Analyst to support in Sunny Point Army Ammunition Plant, Southport, North Carolina.

Candidate will be a member of the Army Materiel Command Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Team located at AMC Hq Redstone Arsenal but will work at a remote site responsible for Cyber Resiliency Cybersecurity Support. The candidate will conduct analysis of cyber risk assessments to identify, develop, and recommend technical and operational solutions (material and non-material solutions) to mitigate, resolve, or remove risk. The candidate will also work with information security SMEs, system architects, business analysts, and network engineers to remediate identified risks and improve cyber resiliency, without introducing additional operational or mission execution risk.

Duties Include:

• Serve as the technical authority for computer security management, for multiple information systems used for controlling and monitoring of Industrial Control Systems and associated hardware and software and communication systems
• Support the design and implementation for monitoring, tracking, and reporting procedures and develop manage short- and long-range plans for addressing computer security needs
• Monitor a coordinated computer security management program to protect unit systems, data, and information from internal and external attack
• Utilize computer security policies, guidelines, procedures, and standards to meet the information assurance objectives and ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of the Information and Operational Technology assets
• Establish systems for issuing, protecting, and changing system passwords
• Manage the review of system audit trails and ensures the thorough investigation of discrepancies
• Maintain access control records and establishes access control policies covering access to systems only by authorized personnel
• Identify, analyzes and reports attempts to gain unauthorized access to information, system failures, or suspected defects which could lead to unauthorized disclosures
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for IT intrusion detection and analysis for state-of-the-art and emerging techniques and products and recommends appropriate technical strategies in resolving complex and persistent IT security challenges
• Capable of understanding, analysis, reporting, and resolving IT and OT vulnerabilities
• Participates in response teams to ensure any anomalies are corrected in accordance with government or industry standards
• Provide remote support to subordinate organizations oversight of cyber risk mitigations activities or strategies
• Conduct analysis of completed cyber risk assessments to identify, develop, and recommend technical and operational solutions (material and non-material solutions) to mitigate, resolve, or remove risk.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 10 years of work related experience
• Minimum of an IAT Level 2 certification or higher and one of the following: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Linux Plus Certification (Linux+) Assured Compliance Assessment Solution Administration (ACAS) Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) Network Plus Certification (Net+) Certified Network Engineer (CNE)
• Knowledgeable in the areas of: real-time security situational awareness, operational network systems, and security monitoring
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
• Travel: Up to 10%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

BS Degree in applicable field -3-5 years of applicable experience
